Looking forward to Arin's funeral.

Seems to confirm it on his Twitter.

I just imagine the match going Harley's way, he's dominating Arin and his closeted trans ass, then Arin has a mental break and pulls a Tyson by biting off his ear. Shock and awe from the crowd as Harley holds his bleeding ear in a pure "WTF is going on!?" kind of expression. Arin looms over him and gulps down the piece of ear he bit off then Jon storms the ring with a steel chair and Benoit's Arin putting him into a 6 month long coma.

The internet fucking explodes.

"You see this tiny back and forth in my DMs? It PROVES that I'm taking this seriously! I haven't been relevant in so long and, by golly, I NEED MY RELEVANCE JUST FOR A WEEK!"
to be fair if Sam teaches him about downercuts I think we might be gifted HD footage of Arin getting knocked the fuck out

POV: You're sitting at a Rhode Island bar that's livestreaming CreatorClash, and as Arin Hansons lower jaw gets obliterated all you can hear in the back is this:

This would have been a perfect MDE World Peace episode back in 2015. Game Grumps audience (or what’s left of them) mixed with MDE’s audience sounds too surreal to be real.

You guys are telling me you wouldn't wanna watch Arin get punched in the face (even if yeah it's probably gonna be staged)?

I don't want to sit through hours of a lame event, even if it was free which it isn't, just to see Arin getting punched in the face. I would rather just look up the highlights on Youtube after it happens.

The appeal of the Jake Paul boxing matches was that you were going to see a snarky asshole who thinks he can box get his face beat in by a professional. Unfortunately that didn't happen due to his skill, or more likely under the table deals that boxing is and has been known for since the early 1900's due to mafia influence.

This event is a bunch of people who have probably never even watched a boxing match before in their life thrown into the ring to see what happens. They're just going to dance around and every once and awhile throw something that could possibly be called a punch. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them do something for "teh epix memez" or actually just start dancing.

Boxing, when it's good, is watching two people beat the ever loving stuffing out of each other. But when you have two people in the ring who have no idea what they are doing, you have nothing more than a slap fight with gloves. There's no danger. It's a bullfight without a bull. Watching a $20 live stream in the hopes that someone actually gets a lucky hit off is both a waste of time and money.

I might be super late to this but there was an interesting grumps-related occurrence that happened around a year ago, so I might as well post about it here. Very shortly after Jon left, people noticed an unusual Youtube commenter named deadgrumps, who would go on to post a whole lot of bizarrely edited videos about how Game Grumps was dead. Many theorized this user was the former editor Barry, but I'm not sure if that was ever confirmed. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChQ5CV1a_VU-t4uLIIgyVXA

Their last video was called "epilogue", and although it was removed from the channel, the creator posted this message along with a google drive link:

"dear reader,

every now and then we must face the past. after six years, "epilogue" is gone from youtube.

don't fret, you can still find it, if you desire, by following the link above.

go carefully; it's a secret to everybody.

remembering the past is a pastime that many of us enjoy.

understandably, it can be tempting to relive simpler days gone by.

most of all, it is a bittersweet reverie to once again be with those that we are no longer with, even if only in hazy daydreams.

pulling memories of a bygone era over one's eyes, however, will cloud vision of what lies ahead.

so i urge you, dear reader, visit the past only every so often, only in doses.

when you do return to those distant places, relish the reminiscing, but also accept that you cannot stay there.

if this truth is understood, it will be easier to let go of old ropes that keep us tethered to then, and recognize the urgency of now.

nevertheless... occasional reflection is nice.

sometimes, it doesn't hurt to stroll down recollection road, wave at the translucent faces of yesterday, and thank them for shaping who we are today."
