>Orthodox Catholic
Lol all jokes aside there were some things saying they are more aligned to other forms of Orthodox Christianity. The Russian Orthodox I believe only accounts up to 2% of the population.
Yeah I originally typed Christian and was going through editing that post. Then I fucked up and hit shift enter. LOL.

I am no expert on eastern European\Slav Christianity any way you slice it. Just know the historical makeup fairly well.
But that ruins the joke..
Damn, you got me. I spent way too much time on Twitter today hunting for footage and lost all of my sense of humor.

Cauldron also definitely refers to the shape it isn't a full cooking analogy (air power is the spices!)
I don't blame them, it's due to the fact it's non-standard term in English for an encirclement or pocket, and is only used by Russian commentators due to the fact it's Soviet military terminology which has 3 words, one for different levels of military encirclements, with Cauldron being strategic level encirclement of entire armies.

And Cauldron doesn't refer to the shape, it refers to the fact an encirclement that large puts up extremely hot resistance.

That said next level is Sack for operational-level encirclements due to the fact they typically only occur during breakthroughs and are like a cat trying to fight it's way out of a bag.

And the lowest level being are Nest which are tactical-level pockets which are usually represented by entranced defensive positions that are still holding out.

I gave up searching for footage after getting punked too many times with fake streams and repurposed clips.
March 5. This was in the good old days of the original thread.
The original thread was never good either.

The Germans came up with it the original term is Kessel

Edit: I can't find anything that refers to the term coming from anything other than the shape (a base line and two rounded flanks) but my Deutsch is very rusty so not having success with original sources

An interview with a tanker who was hit by NLAW in Mariupol.

The tank burned through, but the crew got off with only a concussion. They were transferred to another tank and were back in the ranks the next day.
you thought being concussed and having the potential to faint would stop you from being ordered to operate heavy machinery in a warzone, comrade?

It was only a matter of time...

Now, lets do the migrants Mexicans and Haitians coming across the southern American border. Except, just a little different injection.

Yes the Russians originally got it form German, it seems the English Wikipedia article about it's Etymology was fake news, and was trying to simply backtack meaning to it due to the two supplemental terms the Soviet Military created.

Fuck you Germany, this is the price you pay for unleashing the hordes of third worlders on your country. You don't get to say no anymore. Especially not when you're so close to this particular country of origin for the refugees.

Banning Christian churches? So very liberal

Also LOL that Vince McMahon will be a convicted felon if he ever returns to his beloved The Ukraine (not really, poor asshole I genuinely feel sorry for how this whole situation keeps kicking him in the balls), more LOL that the Ukrainian government keep surgically striking both their own balls and the balls of anyone in their vicinity
LOL, you guys are delusional. First of all, Russian Othrodox Church was part of Putin propaganda machine. Primate Cyryl said himself that Russia only defend yourself and Ukraine was aggresor because of organizing pride parades (:story:). It caused cracks in Orthodox Churches around the world.

And second of all, you only get desertion charges if you were part of military before this war.

I wonder what the distance is on that shot, since NLAWs have a 20 meter arming distance.
