That sounds a bit optimistic to me tbh. Sounds more like they're just moving troops around to reinforce their existing gains.

The official story is that they're regrouping from Kiev and Chernigov to surround the group of Ukrainian forces in the Donbass. Could be both a feint and a regroup. Whatever it is, it makes a lot more sense than sending wave after wave of people at fortified positions, or wiping Kiev off the map with heavy artillery.

slavs being slavs. stuff like this wont' deter anyone's position on ukraine or russia. I wonder if they really did it or if they're just bullying him. you'd think there'd be more isis war footage coming out of this war.

About ruskis leaving kiveve, they did announce sometime yesterday or before that they would "hit kiev less harder" (whatever that means in russian terms) and that they would pull back some of their army from kiev.
To @TheTrumanShow, MAYBE it's true, but from here we can only speculate why, My take is that they realized kiev shouldn't be their focus and now they're moving more equipment and more ivans to dombass (their Main aim) and mauriupol.(which may or may not fall sooner or later, it's halfway there)
