A rally in Tskhinvali (the capital of South Ossetia) in support of joining Russia

The Chechens are having fun just like their American counterparts.

Just going to point out that despite all the neg ratings I have been 100% right about how this war was going to go. Yes I am smug about it. Yes you have to deal with it
How do you feel about being right?
Ruble almost back to its prewar value lol. Western elites are so fucking pathetic. This eurocuck's response is "the politics of failure have failed, we must make them work again!"

Meanwhile, right wingers will say that Putin is giving the same middle finger to the West that Gaddafi did.
The dollar has transcended base currencies it’s now a religion powered by belief .
Face the wrath of Statism.
I like how we've all momentarily came together to say torturing POW's (regardless of allegiance) for fun is shit.

We're genuinely better Human beings than Redditors.
Not sure if that’s a high bar to beat or worth bragging about.
In the neoliberal mind, Russia is simultaneously able to subvert elections, even of the Sainted Hillary, and threaten the entirety of Europe unless said euros spend hundreds of billions more on defense, while also being a large mudflat filled with Orcs in which there is just 1 wooden structure which Putin lives in
The duality of the political enemy. Behold.
So if I'm reading this thread correctly Ukraine is agreeing to all pf Russia's demands stated before the war, at the beginning of the war, and during the war but somehow Russia has "lost" because they didnt get all of Ukraine(something they never wanted). Ok bruhs. Never change.

And /pol/ will be pissed because Russia didn’t reveal/leak the extent of Western corruption in Ukraine.
What mechanisms? Last time the US tried playing at dissent was Jan 6th. Don't think that channeled anything anywhere, just made people more divided.

As for the regional oligarchs and similar servants of the people, well, they'll have a lot more to lose by trying to secede than just their money. That's just the facts of it, and it applies to any major nation including the US. Any serious talk of states trying to secede will get that shit violently shut down by the Biden admin quicker than you can say "а у них негров линчуют."
So what hope is there left for the right wing dissenters?
Shower thought:

They said vaccines would have no side effects.
Then why has everybody in the world gone bugfuck insane?
2016 happened. There’s your answer.

The BLM "summer of love" had its virtue signaling tendrils being far more invasive and widespread (even though the risk to the fate of humanity was meaningless).

My reasoning behind this is that fucking everything had the stupid "BLM" shit plastered on it. Every corporation and brand put out the black background with white text logo virtue signal, and things entirely unrelated to black people or the culture war would have virtue signaling banner. Now there is a lot of the same shit with the Ukraine situation, but not nearly as widespread.

For instance, I distinctly remembering having to see the stupid fucking BLM banner on both the React documentation pages and the Django documentation pages. Right now, React (which is facebook/meta owned) docs has a virtue banner for the Ukies:

While Django does not:

So, by my arbitrary standards, the culture war on this is only 50% as intense. Also, the usual virtue signaling Americans (like, the employees of Roosterteeth) aren't baying and gnashing their teeth about Ukraine to any significant degree. Most of them are ignoring it, unlike the BLM virtue signal.

TLDR: The global implications, sanctions, and governmental consequences of this are far greater, but the social media storm is not nearly as insane as the BLM bullshit of 2020.
I should have specified my earlier post. By people chimping out at each other over the Ukrainian invasion, I meant people here on the Farms.

How is Sweden/Saab going to react to Brazil's support for Russia? Are they going to cancel the Gripen deal or is the Eternal Swede simply going to ignore it and secure the bag?
I wouldn't worry about Sweden as much as I would the US and UK. The grippen has a fair amount of parts that the two countries have export control on. I know the British used the option to do so when the argies tried buying them.
