I think you're right here. Munchies that already have Type 2 diabetes will mess with it, but it's not something people willingly induce and may even try to hide because it's associated with fat people who eat too much sugar. And no matter how loudly they HAES, deep down everyone knows that Type II diabetes has the fat stigma plus association with the elderly. If someone actually has DMII, then there's all kinds of rhinestone glucometer cope, but it's not a diagnosis they try to seek out.
Oral sulfonylureas--glimepiride, glyburide, glipizide--can get someone pretty hypoglycemic if they don't eat or take too large a dose, but those are also prescription medications.Yaniv (has his own forum) definitely manipulates his blood sugar downwards. But I think it's pretty hard to get into those scary, medfags-freak-out numbers without access to insulin.
Personally knew with a woman who would go into DKA as a relationship-management tool. She didn't have any one boyfriend long, but they were always her "partner." She kept the ones who doted on her while she was ill, until they wised up. The ones who ditched also served by becoming pity fuel for staff, whom she was eager to tell how she was cruelly broken up with in her hour of need.Kim (Sammie Bushart thread) gives herself bad blood sugars for a free trip to the hospital. It's also possible that she's too stupid or lazy to manage her diabetes properly. This is more depressing than usual though, because she became pregnant with twins. One twin died early in the second trimester and the other is already showing signs of caudal regression syndrome, which is strongly associated with poorly managed diabetes in the mother.
If a munchie could manage to hack a CGM to monitor hormone levels, their Munchausen's would be eclipsed by their highly-lucrative tech breakthrough. Someone could claim that that's why they're wearing a CGM, but it's really, really unlikely to be true.On the topic of diabetic munching, doesn't one of the girls use a modified glucose monitor to monitor hormones (and deliver steroids)?
Bethany. She uses an omnipod device to inject cortisol instead of insulin. She wrote a blog post about it (archives not working)On the topic of diabetic munching, doesn't one of the girls use a modified glucose monitor to monitor hormones (and deliver steroids)?
Huh, that's neat.Bethany. She uses an omnipod device to inject cortisol instead of insulin. She wrote a blog post about it (archives not working)
She's acting like this supposed dead twin and her would have been the Yin-Yang symbol.Without outing my source, I’d like to share a message Victoria sent one of her followers about her fake twin and it makes absolutely no goddamned sense. It’s a wonder this specimen has kept herself alive for 28 years because holy shit she is DUMB. A doctor told her that she and her conjoined identical twin with somehow different dna would’ve had…opposite illnesses? Even though the cause of Vickie’s woes are because of the dead fetus’ bits and pieces left in her body? Someone give this munch a prize. This takes the cake. View attachment 3114467

I hate her. So, more please. So I've just come across this chick on tiktok
Her whole personality is her EDS / disability may be worth keeping an eye on.
Not sure if munchie, but 100% attention whore and gives off giant red flag vibes.

Anyone else come across her? Opinions and thoughts would be appreciated
Is that a fucking BIRKIN?
Clock me if late, I don't know enough about purses/Birkins in particular to say with confidence it definitely is not one. I can say with absolute certainty it is not that specific model. If the inconsistencies rule out another model it's not even a particularly good counterfeit. That is indeed a Hermes Birkin- worth roughly $23,000.

My medfag to white trash understanding: That scans, definitely lots of meth-goblins up that way. I don't know what kinda weird pervert stuff "fugates" are into but if they're blue they've probably gotten into some spraypaint to huff.Methemoglobinemia probably refers to the Blue Fugates of Kentucky,
You're barking up completely the wrong tree. It's a blood disorder, which the Fugate family had a high incidence of due to inbreeding. Most of the iron in their blood is fucked up, so that it carries less oxygen and is also blue. Ironically, the treatment is a blue dye.My medfag to white trash understanding: That scans, definitely lots of meth-goblins up that way. Glinides too.Oral sulfonylureas--glimepiride, glyburide, glipizide--can get someone pretty hypoglycemic if they don't eat or take too large a dose, but those are also prescription medications.
This sounds like it will eventually happen, but probably not consciously.I think it would be technically possible to induce hypoglycemia by taking a massive amount of fenugreek supplements since it works similarly to sulfonylureas and glinides. Also induces lactation and makes your pee smell like maple syrup.
Well, get on it munchies there's a medical mystery you can stymie some poor emergency medicine physician with.

There was a thread a little back with a troon who wanted to lactate, so he was eating those "lactation cookies" for breastfeeding mothers. (They had a little fenugreek in them, but were mostly just nutritional support for a postpartum woman who was already lactating, oats and flaxseed and such.) It was a combination of magical thinking, poor reading comprehension, and disposable income.
Now, if anything's worth doing, it's worth overdoing, and they do sell fenugreek in supplements or just tea bags.
Go tell the pharmaceutical companies; you found a niche market! Adjust the dose, dye them pink, extend the patent. Funny catch-22 if an antipsychotic made a guy lactate, but also made him less overwhelmingly interested in lactating. If they really want to lactate, there’s a few antipsychotics they could try…
ah but the internet is forever
