General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

DDK recently had a rap performance as special guest on a japanese indie rap thingy. There she knew how to take the stage, her moves where fiting.

Here, she neither committed fully to that style, nor fully tried to dance like an idol. What we watched was more like "dance floor at 9 pm". Not amazing.

Also: Holy shit 138k viewers as of writing!

I'll be the outlier here and say I actually like Calli's dance moves on the stage. She's a white girl rapper performing for an idol company in Japan , of course she's gonna move like that. Not to mention the fact that we all know she's a big dork. I find her dance routine endearing when that's all taken into consideration.
If people thought that EN aside from Kiara and maybe Ina were going to be exact replicas of JP Idols on stage, then that's on them.

Warabeda Meiji will be graduating Nijisanji on April 30th after her final Raindrops concert later this month on April 15th. If I had to wager her reason for doing so, it's her consistent health issues that have kept her from streaming and performing for months at a time. Wish her the best nonetheless.
Indeed.

Apparently it's a throat illness that she's struggled with since 2020. A sad but ultimately necessary decision if she feels like her throat/voice cannot continue long term.

Sui-chan pulling in numbers damn

She never said how consistently she was going to those lessons. Moreover she started what? a couple months ago? That means dick all. Kiara's struggling with her own routines and she dedicated a good portion of her life to it.
In the end, it is really on Cover for not providing proper choreo for her, anyway. Like Holofes, they choreo'd a bit and just basically said to do her rap shit for the rest. Not sure why they didn't take better advantage of the last year to train her the way they want. Then again, I also would have thought they would have had the time to make the 3D models for Myth look good and they didn't do that either.

I suppose to tweet the live hashtag, but my eyes can't get off the show, and my hands can't let go of the lightsticks. Actually, I can't watch the show fully because my eyes get blurry around the time Tenkyu start. That song was almost the last song from Hoshimachi Suisei, and now she sing it live in front of more than a hundred thousand live audience. Simply amazing.

And you sure bet I'm going ALL IN in the merch. Comet cap let's goooooo!

Only checked screenshots on twitter an reactions here, seems like a great concert to rewatch. Suisei is really YAGOO'S top idol, her cinderella story is simply amazing. Also Calli taking dance lessons but not improving: can't beat the wigger out of the wigger.

Were the JP girls models rougher looking when they 3d debuted? Don't the models get refinements as the years go on? I'm guessing that's the case. Granted they withheld the models from Myth and ID longer than the others, but it may not have been a priority compared to the models that would be used far more frequently. I get it, it's disappointing to see them with flat faces, but maybe the expectations were too high?

Amazing concert! Suisei never misses man. And that Midnight Orchestra thing is official. I hope they come out with something rather than a 'coming soon'

In other news, Ganma out here showing his powerlevel with a full fledged manga with Uproar 'lore' with bonus Yagoo.
A bit standard paneling. That said, not every illustrator can drew manga specifically because of their lack of paneling skill. Wonder who Ganma actually is and how he got recruited

I'm a bit surprised that they didn't have enough people familiar enough with English to fix that weird title. Maybe they just Google Translated it and called it a day?
