Isn't applying and joining NATO a lenghty proccess though? how quickly enough are we talking about here?
I'd say pretty damn fast. Finland already meets the spending requirements, and both of them already have some dealings with NATO, especially Sweden. Neither of them have any real blocks to membership either, at least not in terms of corruption or government stability. A lot of their gear is already compatible with NATO already. If they wanted to join, there's nothing really holding them back

Well, except that it would start shit with Russia. St. Petersburg is close to the Finnish border and the Border with Russia is really large.

The Suwalki gap would become strategically useless to Russia since at that point they would share a really large border with the hostile alliance that is very close to the core Russian territories.

I’m no fan of the Ukrainian military, or the brave soldiers of Zion in the Azog Battalion, but the helicopters getting knocked down has hit me in the feels. You survive 8 years of civil war, weeks of brutal shelling, ugly street fighting with Russian islamists who high five and allahu ackbar every time one of your friends die. Finally a chopper arrives to exfil you and you think you’re home free, only to be shot down by the very weapons the CIA gave you to fight the Russians in the first place.

War is heckarino my dudes.

There are political considerations, yes, but Finland is a much different story than Ukraine. Yes st Petersburg would be threatened, but not anymore than it already is with the Baltic states being in NATO, and invading from Finland doesn't give you that straight shot into the Russian heartland over nice flat plains. It's quite a bit more rugged terrain up there.

Shane Matthew is back in the UK.
"Back home after training an entire defence battalion and getting involved in a bit of the fighting! Very sorry to anyone who thought I was dead, but im not! More to follow!!"

Reminder that he went as a sniper, or at least they gave him a big gun to do a little fighting:

But it seems he trained 1000 men in combat first aid:
"I trained 1,000 men in combat first aid. If just one of them saves a life, then the risk was worth the reward. 3 weeks. 3 days. 3 minutes is all it takes to save a life."
Anybody knows what "3 weeks. 3 days. 3 minutes" means? That you can survive 3 weeks without food, 3 days without water and 3 minutes without air?

Reminder: He's the faggot who gave away his position and that of his team because he needed to post on Tik Tok.
Well, he's back safe in the UK, that's a fact.
In the mean time the vid is offline but for those who want to see it again:

Hard to feel anything knowing that the same guys probably forced civilians at gunpoint to stay behind.

How much training would an artillery crew realistically need to be trained on British artillery? Looking through their equipment Ukraine is probably getting L118s.
EDIT: Although it could potentially be M777s which are newer but are a heavier artillery, only reason I see it as a potential possibility is the "long range artillery" part and it has significantly more range.

At the Belarusian border checkpoint, a certain Ukrainian, Vladislav Shvets, was detained, who was trying to escape to another country from the draft.

The border guards checked his phone, and it turned out that Vladislav is an Internet fighter with experience. The guy wrote threats to Russians and threw photos of corpses on social networks.

Ladies and gentlemen, the Cyber Forces of Ukraine
This untermensch held neo-Nazi(of course) views and was sending photos of soldiers' corpses to the children of Russia.

I wonder how major Denis Prokopenko "Redis" is doing. He is/was in Mariupol/Valhalla.
Pro-Russia accounts said that a few days ago a helicopter of snAFU went out to rescue him from Mariupol andthat it got shot down. Since then no confirmations or updates. For now I take it with a bucket of salt.

Russia is going to claim a wasteland called peace. And the hilarious thing is they did Zelensky a favor by wiping out the Azov. At this stage he no longer needs them, so the fact they held as long as they did is a bonus.
“Killing some of my most dedicated and competent soldiers is actually a win for me” is an impressively retarded cope.
