I mean, internet ratings in general are pretty stupid to get worked up over, no matter who you are or what's being voted on. But the difference between a troon going "hurdurr ratio" and a Youtube video being mass disliked (aside from the fact that the Google overlords decided to remove the ability to see the latter because hurt feefees) is that the latter is generally organic, while the former is clearly being botted to hell and back. Nobody needed to organize a mass dislike campaign for any of the Youtube Rewind videos, for instance, because they were objectively terrible and anyone could figure that out within two seconds. If there's real consensus on something, it'll show.

Meanwhile, Lucas throws out a tweet and an army of bots updoots it, literal or figurative. We've already seen how he has a plethora of dupe accounts, so it's not far of a leap to assume those are/were being used for botting. But even if he weren't, troons are notorious for being terminally online, so they're effectively bots just the same, waiting for their marching orders to updoot whatever Lucas wants them to. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if at least some of his troon followers have their own bot stables ready to go. Wouldn't it be funny if the thousands of likes on every ratio tweet were only being sent by hundreds of actual people? Or dozens?

On a side note, I don't use Twitter at all, but I'd always heard "ratio" in the context of replies to likes/retweets. That is, if that ratio skewed heavily towards replies, it meant that the person in question had said something really stupid that nobody liked but everyone was calling them out on. Not once before I entered this thread had I heard it in the context that Lucas uses it, that the ratio of likes on his reply to likes on the OP meant that he had more support than those icky transphobes.
