Maybe I missed a few texts but the overwhelming sense I get is that Alice was torn between playing hard to get (who doesn't like free shit), trying to constantly drop hints she wasn't sexually interested in Ralph, and genuinely trying to have some friends. I think some of the texts from May are actually Ralph, or she’s sitting there taking dictation from him on what to say to Alice. This was obviously the case in Vegas. Later on she seems to have control over her phone and that’s when the trouble started.

May obviously has agreed she will be a “dirty whore” and do three ways to appease Ralphamale. He got her to agree to that before they were even dating by her being the third wheel in his relationship with Faith. She was permanently in the “you want threesomes heh heh” category from day one with Ralph.
