I respect Russian and Ukrainian war journalists more than the rest because there's the possibility of them not being rich enough to actually leave their hometown (or in Ukrainian cases, literally unable to leave Ukraine because of the ban) so might as well document shit going on, but whenever I see some American or non-Slav 'carnage tourist' get their head blown off by a sniper I just have to laugh and laugh and laugh, those fuckers deliberately CHOSE to enter a disaster zone willingly and are reaping the consequences for doing so. Conscripts can take over in the various border positions in Russia, freeing up regular forces that then get deployed to the Ukraine.

People forget that only a portion of the Russian army is in Ukraine, because the rest still need to defend the country, or at least be a deterrent at the borders.

Yeah according to him the city (what remains of it anyway) is under their complete control but who knows it it’s actually true.
Seems like the bulk of the actual fighting is in that area.

They've retreated from the western side of Kevin and they're suffering heavy casualties while doing so as seen on the numerous images and videos of abandoned and destroyed Russian armor and trucks.

Chernihiv is no longer encircled and those two frontlines potruding from the northeast starting from Konotop are more liabilities than boons because the Ukries are operating behind the Russian frontlines.

I would not trust the numbers but at this point the Ukries are idiots for not leaving their barracks and bases when they're an easy target for Kalibr and Iskander missiles.

Hundreds of Ukrainians and maybe scores of foreign volunteers have already been killed already in such attacks.
