Jokes aside for a moment, there are several instances where he mocks gaming and nerd culture. People who collect Pokemon cards, play a game for a long time to master it or read/collect comic books or action figures are all "fucking losers" or "no lifer virgins" or "basement dwellers who live with their parents". But he himself (well he's a beggar that just so happens to feature games, but for the sake of the argument) is in the video game sphere to an extent. And if you ever watched him interact with a game he does fancy himself "probably the best gamer out there". So how does his ego reconcile this? He sometimes mentions that he does stuff "casually" and "just for fun". Leaving aside the fact that that's 100% a lie I really think and find it hillarious that he sees himself, or at least wishes to be, this bastion of gayming who is a cool guy unlike those nerds who try, fuck no he's not one of THOSE guys but he can pick up a controller and instantly be a top tier player in every game to show those dorks that he is just inherently is better than them. It cracks me up that he seems to have the delusions of a 12 year old and makes me wonder if there is any traumatic event in his past like a school bully giving him a hard time over playing video games.

I'm gonna borrow the term "preordered support" from JoshPoem, but I wonder how many more similar scams he pulled successfully since yesterday's Kirby scam was the first time he brazenly memoryholed preordered support even when there's public receipts of it happening. One time I remember him asking for preordered support was back during the insomnia curing Yakuza 7 grind streams where he went through the same goddamn dungeon over and over again every single stream for a month and as a consequence support was slow for it. This was back when he was on Twitch so he asked the ahn demand Youtube audience for behind the scenes tips. With how he handled the preordered support for Kirby I'd say there's a non-zero chance that the same happened to preordered support in the past, given that back then the only receipt for the preordered support was in DSP's email inbox. I don't imagine he hid an outrageous amount of money, but I imagine every game where he asked for preordered support he managed to squeeze out another hundo or two for the Doordash budget.

If not Piece of Piece, go for his mortal enemy that is Almighty Tevin. But he's too muchof a pussy to debunk Tevin.

Since we live in the clown timeline I want the most bizarre thing to happen. That's right, let's switch sides. I want to see Phil restream one of Tevin's Twitch streams. Everyday in your stream chat is April Fools. Almost everyone in the chat whether they are a contributor, member, or regular fan is trolling you at some level every day. DSP talks about how he had a phonecall with someone from Machinima during his first year with them and how the guy asked "outside of YouTube what do you want to do". For some baffling reason he took this to mean what do you want to do instead of YouTube, instead of what any normal human would think about: how do you want to use your YouTube channel and its tied in publicity to have more ways of earning money, diversify so you're literally not just earning money from YouTube, and also possibly get opportunities that are more sustainable and not as new (and thus who the fuck knows what will happen with it in terms of earnability) as YouTube. The guy even started suggesting getting into Street Fighter commentating when they talked about SF4, something that clearly wouldn't be done instead of YouTube and opens a ton of roads for other money making avenues.

How the fuck did DSP pass a single business course? I know Fairfield isn't exactly a stellar school but holy shit, this man is so short sighted and unwilling to think big it's shocking. DSP might as well be on a horse track with the blinders he's been wearing his entire "legacy".

Well going by what he said during last Kirby stream. Phil is never one to plan ahead and think "where am I going to be in 2-5-10 years", and he is much happier for it.

This really ties into Phil total lack of any ability to think in abstracts, if something does not have an immediate payoff he isn't interested/have the patience to wait.

Phil is the type of person if asked "will you rather have $1000 now or $100K in 5 years" he'll take the $1000.
