The Ukies never had the initiative and they don't have it now. Russia pulling some guys away from lightly harassing Kevin, so they can seriously harass the remainder of the Ukie army in Donbass, isn't bad for Russia or good for Ukraine.

Morale is very important, but not as important as air superiority, artillery superiority, and freedom to maneuver. Russia has those last things and the Ukies don't. I expect the Ukie troops trapped in Donbass to fight bravely, but winning isn't on the cards for them and no amount of morale can change that. Hopefully it's not a total bloodbath where they go out guns blazing (something that always appeals to brave young men, but just guarantees you won't live to fight another day), but it's shaping up to be one.

I'm morbidly curious to see what the next level of Ukieboo delusion looks like tho. "ACKSHUALLY, the Russians only killed or captured 60,000 hardened troops in the East and redrew the map of Ukraine but CNN said there's still a gay nightclub in Lvov so you lose Putler :smug:"

Those retards are talking in circles. First Arestovich was telling how brave ukrainians killed at leas 10k russians a day and they will soon advance on Moscow. Now he is returned from couple of days of rest and telling that russians almost completely destroyed their military–industrial complex, and that they need to make peace faster. And Zelensky was at first agreed to sacriface drum'n'bass for peace, but now he is telling that they will "fight to the end" for every inch.

The fuck are those fuckers on? Maybe heavy armor that is going to ukraine on rails gave them big hopium huff?

Today, the occupants launched a massive shelling of Kremenchug oil refinery and the warehouse of finished products. The factory infrastructure is destroyed and the facility is not working. Our firefighters continue to heroically fight the fire. Fortunately, there is no ecological catastrophe, ДСНС (whatever the fuck that is) is controlling the stiuation. As of right now, several people were injured and received burns, but their lives are in no danger.

It takes some effort to read Ukrainean as a Russian, but it is largely doable once you pick up a handful of words that are actually different.

  • Ukrainians continue their counterattacks from Nikolayev Mikolayiv towards Χερσόνησος Kherson which the Russians continue to repel.
  • The Ukrainians might use the Starstreak system not just as AA but as anti-tank weapons. VOR did a more in-depth weapon sperging. Main point is that western weapons and intel are key to Ukraine's war effort.
  • In regards to Kevin, the point of this entire gay op was to encircle the city and divert Ukrainian troops from the Donbass. Because this part of the campaign wasn't thought through well enough, we're now seeing the Russian troops from there being recalled and redeployed. Cancelling the Kevin operation instead of embarassing themselves any further is the right call according to VOR.
  • For the Russians it is absolutely critical to at the very least take everything east of the Dniepr river. Otherwise they might face a much stronger Ukraine if after it's been rebuild by the west. Basically if the Russians don't get their shit together and take the eastern bank of the Dniepr, they might have more or less the NATO equivalent of a Ukrainian Reichskommissarriat at their door if they fail.
  • VOR hypothesises that Russia's "Phase 2" is a war of attrition in combination with trying to outmanoeuvre the Ukrainians.

lmao does he have any idea what it takes for a pilot to become proficient in flying an F-15 or F-16? And how many variants we have? We're not giving them our F-15/16s, that's a given. And armaments, those don't come cheap, not at all. Who's going to crew them? Where will these very expensive planes be housed? Who will be fueling them? Where are they taking off from?

Either a money grab or Sean Penn's dumber than a sack of Kiyyv potatoes. I'm going with the latter.

Having seen the effects of civil war on people when I was young I learned that when there are people are getting blown away all the time, any time, by either the military or the opposing party, police services quickly disappear and some will take the opportunity to settle scores. The only way to stop someone from killing you because they feel you wronged them in some way is to kill them first. Or hire well armed body guards with itchy trigger fingers and let them do the killing for you. That's a bit risky as they may decide to kill you and take all your valuables for themselves. So an entire family has to take watch all the time regardless, and maybe go offensive if necessary.

I am not at all surprised this happened; in fact, I expected it to happen and who did the killing may or may not be accurately determined for a long time.

Total cope. You don't send your Air Assault forces, SOF and most modern equipment (late model T72s, T80s and KA-52s) into a distraction that's expected to take heavy losses. Maybe if it was nothing but LPR/DPR fodder and cold war trash sent north I would buy it. There's also the matter of now your depleted battle groups now have to redirect from Belarus to Russia to Dombass. Anyone buy this load of bullshit as some deep battle maneuver is as delusional as a Bernie Sanders voter.
