The first and early lie about the "martyr's of Snake Island" who were all killed by Russian warship after saying "fuck you Russian warship" and that Zelensky commemorated their deaths, was only believed by stupid people.

I feel the need to contest this. This isn't a case of fake news that only the most gulliable of people fell for, the deaths on Snake island were reported on even credible news networks and newspapers. I hate to PL here but in the UK I saw the Snake Island massacre story across practically every channel (I remember BBC, SKY and ITV, not sure about Channel 4 though).

When fake news is coming from cnn-news-ofical.ru then you know what, I get it that people are retarded. The story became believable because news channels were assuming that the Ukrainian wasn't lying, and nobody was ever going to Snake Island themselves to go check so it was played as truth. It actually was pretty believable, and it's one of the bubble popping moments I saw for a few people in regards to Ukraine support once they realised they'd fallen straight for propaganda.

I think we can assume it's not an IL-76. You can also tell by the angle of the camera that the guy who filmed it was taller than the engine (unless he was standing on a ladder)

I’m not against people giving aid that they see fit to those afflicted, but I know for a fact that if I tried to force myself to care beyond how it affects the US, it will come across as trite as #IStandWithUkraine posters. My main concern is the US not escalating the problem, but with the potato brains we have in the government, we might get that anyway.
