Key takeaways:
  • The Russians have definitely abandoned the Kevin theatre and they claim that they have achieved their goals there. VOR disagrees and says that the Russian operation around Kevin was a high risk high reward SpedOp that ultimately failed. The Russians basically gambled high but instead of getting the jackpot, they ended up staring at the felt.
  • In regards to what happened in Bucha, VOR said that while that place is definitely a crime scene, he recommends to withhold any final judgements and/or emotional outbursts. Given how painfully full of shit both the (pro-)Russian and especially (pro-)Ukrainian side has been, we probably won't know what happened until a conclusive third party investigation. It is questionable if said investigation might even happen and we may or may not know the truth (akin to Yugoslavia) on what actually happened years later after poeple have long moved on. What we know for a fact is that the gloves have definitely come off in regards to this war. One ticket to Mister Bones' Wild Ride please...
  • VOR suggests that the Russians should put their main focus on stabilising the north eastern front as it is now very vulnerable to Ukrainian counter-attacks. If the point of the north eastern Front was to support the assault on Kevin, it may be in the Russians' interest to abandon that front too and redeploy these troops in the south or the Donbass.
  • The Russians continue to strike Ukrainian fuel depots, among those in Odessa.
  • VOR speculates that the most defining factor for the Russian war effort is going to be their tactical aircraft. He also believes that the Russian tactical aircraft's ability to interdict Ukrainian ground forces has been rather lackluster so far. They did however a decent job at levelling fixed installations. The Ukrainian troops are pretty decent at dodging Russian aircraft (more or less to how the Serbs dodged NATO aircraft in 1999 but not as creative).
  • Western material support continues to positively affect Ukrainian war effort. It would be in Russia's interest to find a way to stop this.

The official statement of the Russian Defense Ministry about Buchа

The Russian Defense Ministry refutes the accusations of the Kiev regime in the alleged murder of civilians in the settlement of Bucha, Kiev region

All the photos and videos published by the Kiev regime, allegedly testifying to some "crimes" of Russian servicemen in the city of Bucha, Kiev region, are another provocation.

During the time that this settlement was under the control of the Russian armed forces, not a single local resident suffered from any violent actions. Russian servicemen delivered and issued 452 tons of humanitarian aid to civilians in the settlements of the Kiev region.

While the city was under the control of the Russian armed forces, and especially after, until today, in Bucha, local residents freely moved around the city and used cellular communications.

Exits from the city of Bucha were not blocked. All local residents had the opportunity to freely leave the settlement in the northern direction, including to the Republic of Belarus. At the same time, the southern outskirts of the city, including residential areas, were shelled around the clock by Ukrainian troops with large-caliber artillery, tanks, and multiple rocket launchers.

We would like to emphasize that all Russian units completely withdrew from Bucha on March 30, the day after the face-to-face round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in Turkey.

Moreover, on March 31, the mayor of Bucha, Anatoly Fedoruk, confirmed in his video message that there was no Russian military in the city, but he did not even mention any local residents shot in the streets with their hands tied.

Therefore, it is not surprising that all the so-called "evidence of crimes" in Bucha appeared only on the 4th day, when SBU officers and representatives of Ukrainian television arrived in the city.

Of particular concern is the fact that all the bodies of people whose images were published by the Kiev regime, after at least four days, have not stiffened, do not have characteristic cadaveric spots, and blood has not turned up in the wounds.

All this irrefutably confirms that the photos and video frames from Bucha are another staging of the Kiev regime for the Western media, as it was in Mariupol with the maternity hospital, as well as in other cities.
Turns out Germany wants to go and have a look-see with its own peepers. Since Bucha is under Ukrainean control at the moment, it will be interesting to see if they agree.

Here is a little joke.

- How can you tell an Englishman just went for a swim?
- The fish in the lake are fighting.

Other than that, not the slightest idea. The entirety of this conflict does not make sense to me, and I feel we will only learn the approximation of the truth years afrer the peace is signed and all pieces fall into place, whatever they may be. We are standing too close to the proverbial elephant, so it resembles a wall, a rope, a hose and a spear at the same time. To make things worse, it just won't... stop... trumpeting.
My prediction is that in about ten years from now, all the Ukrainian cock sucking you see all around you will be treated the same way as the super autistic patriotism after 9/11 was treated. Seen as an emotionally charged response that lead to a costly and overstayed welcome in some shithole country, an embarrassment to whom ever participated, and made fun of by late night show host funni man #423.

while the other lines are very debatable, I honestly find this part to be the most obviously outlandish claim of them all - russian logistics were utter and total dogshit since the start of this whole thing, there's a ton of evidence out there for this + it makes sense. and yet...with that huge ass convoy of theirs, that literally stopped because it ran out of fuel or some such, they're saying that they still somehow brought in 452 tons of aid in spite of having far more immediate concerns of getting themselves mobile?? yeah...no...I just don't see it and I am dead certain they're bullshitting for whoever's dumb enough to believe they were doing the opposite of what they're accused of.

See: most of the covid hysteria. The UK is already having a "oh shit haha we really did that" in regards to banging pots and pans for the NHS and Sir Captain Tom Moore who bravely hobbled around a garden for a few minutes a day and got knighted for it before actually dying of covid because he caught it on a sponsored holiday.

Dutch journalist got kicked out of Ukraine and banned for 10 years.
I guess it's because he was filming the street.

Update about our Dutch friend:
Dutch war reporter Robert Dulmers has been arrested in Ukraine and deported. That writes the Nederlands Dagblad. Dulmers had been reporting the war for that newspaper since the end of February.
The 56-year-old Dulmers had today recorded a rocket attack on the port city of Odessa, where he lives. After he posted the images on social media, the journalist said he received "reports that I had revealed state secrets".
At the beginning of the afternoon Dulmers was arrested by three men. "They grabbed me while I was on the phone with a representative of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. When I tried to wrestle myself free, one of them pressed a gun to my head. Another turned my hand behind my back," says he to the newspaper.
At the police station, he was told that he had been declared persona non grata. The Dutchman was taken by car to the border with Moldova. There he got his papers back, stamped in his passport: "Entry denied to Ukraine until 2032, signed 2022."

if that's what it takes to 'reveal state secrets' nowadays, then they'll have to arrest literally every ukranian that whips out their phone camera. odds are this is about something else than those rocket attacks, for him to get singled out like this.

Lord knows how badly I miss Covid-19 now. It were the blissful, kind, innocent times.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure drunk Russians + Chechens are doing the occasional war crime (they wouldn't be Slavs if they didn't) but this Bucha thing is the fakest and gayest of Ukranian gayops so far. The photos of supposedly 3-4 day old dead bodies that look exactly like alive people lying down are sus and the video where one of the dead guys moves would be funny if this wasn't serious business.

Can't really blame the Ukies, they're losing the war, are desperate, and inventing atrocities you pin on the other guy for political clout is an old tactic. But I do blame the shit-eating faggots of the West for amplifying this bullshit just like they did Saddam's imaginary WMDs and the chemical weapons false flag they did in Syria.

Ahem
Just a reminder the Russian army has so little food and so low morale that they just decided to give everything they had to civilians in a torrent of despair joking

In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful!
There are a lot of videos of humanitarian help provided by Russia. I just didn't think it was debatable at all, so I didn't bother posting more.

40 tons of aid

50 tons of aid

Even with the most cynical calculation, helping civilians makes them more cooperative, and it's also an excellent propaganda for Russian citizens

The problem I have with it is that key information is still missing. They can show the dead bodies, but you can pin the blame on others easily. The media is pouncing all over this, which is also suspect. This isn’t really to confirm or deny what actually happened, but with so few details available and mostly second hand sources to go off of, it lacks the context needed. Civilians pretty much die in any war. Who kills them or for what reasons can be debated, especially if they are just now being shown 3-4 days after the occurrence as opposed to the day of. As with all information, all of it from any side probably needs multiple sniff tests before jumping to conclusions.

it's not really a question of 'would' or 'wouldn't' for me, I'm saying that they almost certainly couldn't. this isn't their push from Crimea that established the southern front, that was noted to be their most competent one of all. I distinctly remember the area around Kevin to be one of the most nightmarish for them in terms of logistics and I don't see how they could even remotely get to a point, where they start doling out aid in that region. not at several hundreds of tonnes, anyway.

I hate to interject in this funny thread, but I'd like to remind everyone that in the last few weeks, the temperatures in Ukraine have been the equivalent of your freezer, hence why you probably haven't seen many pictures of Russian or Ukrainian troops cosplaying as "Nikocado Avocado on the ground".
