Personally my only concern with Holomems streaming on twitch is how different twitch's ecosystem is from youtube, and i feel if they adapted to that ecosystem it would worsen the content ten fold.

Considering at least Ina has shown some concern over gifting memberships and how it might alter her member only streams, I don't think they all necessarily want that.

They can opt-out if they don't want the feature, like how some members don't have the monthly Free Membership Superchat enabled. I know Luna said she's not going to enable it. What I personally wonder is how does the gifting work with regional prices. People could gift 10 Memberships in ARS for the same price as 1 Membership in $. Which would end up flooding them with members, but barely earning anything from them.

Wishful thinking, but I do hope she uses that kind of setup when she uses her MoCap suit. Sadly I think she's mentioned she doesn't like stuff obscuring whatever she's working on though, which I can get.

Can't reply to @Rezza directly, but in regards to Ina's membership streams. Ina has spent a year building an environment in her members streams where she doesn't have to play the part of funny artistic eldritch girl. Where she can just sit back, relax, watch a movie, anime or just chat and unwind without having to worry about clipper shit. She's well within her right to want to police her community, so I imagine the idea of having the company arbitrarily open up access to membership to people who have no monetary stake in maintaining the atmosphere she crafted is invasive. Having to tard wrangle a new group of tourists every couple of members streams would be the death of what she made.

I don't understand why they couldn't do what Beatani does with different levels.
