Honestly if anybody have watched Phil making his Eyetalian sugar soup back in the Panda days, everything in those videos shows that Phil should not be allowed in a kitchen and have no fucking clue about cooking.

Same goes for his older cooking with the king. It's a fucking miracle that he hasn't burned down either condo.

And if I'm not mistaken it did take some time before Phil started throwing Khets cooking under the bus, Phil have never shied away from throwing those near and dear to him under the bus to cover his own mistakes.

On the topic of corned beef having corn in it. I think Phil bought some black forest ham and was surprised it wasn't sweet, he thought it was going to be sweet because the black exterior was caramel or something. The guy is a moron and he married a moron.
Yeah, he thought it would taste a little sweet because the ingredients list said it had 'carmel colouring' on the outside.

I still remember getting triggered at the start of his sauce video watching him fumble around cutting up an onion with a paring knife.

It just occurred to me that this autistic retard probably cuts up all his vegetables with a small paring knife every week when he gets back from Fred Meyer.

Jesus Christ… I missed the Black Forest ham caramel story.

He and Kat truly are “those” type of people who take everything literally. Something’s called corned beef hash? Must be made with corn! “Caramel coloring” in the ingredients list? Wow, dood! It says “caramel”, so it’s gonna be sweet! Something is called a “rainy day fund”? Must be a fund that you set aside for a rainy day! I know there are many other examples of this, but they aren’t coming to me this late…

We know how lazy Phil is, especially. We live in a time of amazing technology, where we have a device on us pretty much 24/7 that can look up any answer to any question within seconds. Almost every day, Phil has at least a couple “I don’t know what that is! / I don’t know where that is! / I don’t know who that is! / I don’t know what that means!” moments, and he NEVER EVER pulls out his phone and does a ten second google search to find the answer to his question. WHY? Is it narcissism? Is it just simple laziness?

I know a lot of people, and I’ve met hundreds of people throughout my life, and I don’t know anyone as fucking weird and stupid and lazy as Phil and his exceptionally bland filly.

I love that Phil flexes that sugar stew as his Italian heritage authentic food as well. I'm sure Linda Burnell just told Phil as a child once that it was a family recipe when he became hyperfocused on his 25% Italian heritage (whenever that was.) I only assume this because he flexed on it all the way back in the beginning of his channel, so it stands to reason he became obsessed with his heritage at a young age.

Nothing wrong with that but if you do no actual research into the culture, language, and society you sperg over for heritage you are worst than a plastic paddy. It helps make it even more hilarious when all the authentic Italian food he spergs out over is blatantly americanized dishes like chicken parm.

Also why the fuck was he wearing gloves in that sauce video and why did he make enough sauce and meatballs to fill six containers? He wasn't working in a restaurant serving people so there is no reason to wear gloves, just wash you hands piggy.

So @Piece of Peace pointet something interesting out in his recent taxes and tism stream.

Phil is not on Khets health insurance plan, but elects to pay premium price for a very very shitty health insurance plan for himself.

So Phil and Khet that are very much in love and soul mates:
  1. File taxes separately even though this means they have to pay more in taxes.
  2. Wastes money by not having Phil on her superior health insurance plan she get's through her work.
  3. Does not have any form of joint bank account to pay for shared living expenses.
Yup this sure look like a completely normal mature marrige by any standarts.

i think the separate bank account and separate taxes is more common these days. though with the taxes it makes sense to file separately if you make the same income, if there's a huge disparity, file together and save money.
Phil not being on Kats health insurance is fucked up though.

It almost NEVER makes sense to file separately when married regardless of disparities in income level (even when the marriage penalty existed pre-2017 tax changes this was true). My wife and I earn literally the exact same income and it has always been advantageous for us to file jointly. There are very very specific situations that might lead to wanting the file separately, the main ones I see being:

Surely his overpaid tax person must have brought up that their combined family unit is disadvantaged by filing separately, so I have to assume that the purpose is specifically to keep their finances separate on purpose.

there's actually some interesting things on that. Leanna didn't work for a while, did phil count her as a dependent?
also, what happens if Kat ever loses her job, will he count her as a dependent, because in terms of who's paying the bills, Kat may as well be a dependent already.
heck, if they're filing separately, she could probably get some food stamps.

Does Kat even get health insurance working like 20 hours a week at whatever grocery store hasn't fired her yet?
She did during the bankruptcy saga, it's in the docs. And that's the last bit of hard evidence we have.

We can all speculate about her current employment situation, but at the end of the day it's just us doing our best to guess with what little info Phil drops (by accident).

I find it funny that Leanna is a high school dropout and now she's a seemingly successful real estate agent. Meanwhile, Kat graduated and went to college and can't get a job other than a cashier at the grocery store.

And they live in the same exact area with the same opportunities. Neither of them knew a soul when they moved across the country to Seattle.

Do you have any details about her real estate goings on?

I don't follow any of her accounts, and I'm not about to make one to follow her. I'm just relaying what has been posted earlier about her.

Her Instagram is set to private, but she lists her rabbit's "dad" on there and his is public.

Some other Kiwis have sent her friend requests and I guess she lets you in no problem. I'm not too interested to bother.

You can look up her entire employment history on her LinkedIn. She put her resume up 2 weeks ago. I hope whatever this COVED thing is, isn't too serious.
She also has an elementary understanding of....... Italian.........

Don't worry it gets dumber: The requirement to have health insurance was repealed by the Donald Trump administration in 2018 and the bank leaks show Phil has not been to a doctor or dentist since at least 2020 March. Put them together and the Pig has been paying over $3,600 annually for nothing. Not even things which are always covered like a yearly physical or dental checkup.
  1. Wastes money by not having Phil on her superior health insurance plan she get's through her work.
In fairness to Kat it is not clear whether she had the option to add Phil: The employer mandate in Obamacare does not apply to part time (< 30 hours / week) employees and she was working no more than 28 hours and change / week based on the income statement in the begruptcy. Not being covered by the Obamacare mandate meant Fred Meyer had every right to give her an awful plan (which I suspect she has based on how low the premiums are) or not let her add other people to her plan. Phil is selectively cheap and I could totally see him buying an Obamacare plan for himself if he looked at Kat's coverage and realized it was barely better than nothing.

From what I can tell King County, where Seattle is located, uses a minimum wage of $14.49/hour. There is a higher wage for companies that want contracts with the county but I do not know if Fred Meyer falls into that category. More to the point, as we will see in a minute, which minimum wage applies to Kat does not change my conclusions.

Using Kat's income of $1,742.32 / month we get ($1,742.32 / month / $14.49 / hour) / (30 days / month / 7 days / week) = 28.05 hours / week or just under the cutoff. If her wage were higher the weekly hours would be even lower, so the conclusion that she is below 30 hours/week is independent of which minimum-wage law applies to Fred Meyer or whether she makes above minimum wage. This is a very common and BS way for employers to skirt Obamacare rules, when the law was first rolled out many full time positions were merged or downgraded to part time specifically to avoid paying for insurance because adding people to the employer's health plan is just that expensive. This + the extremely low premium Kat pays every month is why I think she is on some sort of bare-bones plan that does not satisfy Obamacare minimums, and Fred Meyer can get away with it because they are not legally obligated to provide anything at all.

The glaring thing that stuck out to me was his ability to get the $1400 stimulus as we saw in the bank leak. That was last year (check in 2020 was $2000 and was based on 2018 tax filing) Which means he had to go to the government website and lie in order to get it since he, himself, makes too much.

You still got the stimulus if you're married and filing separately.
