reddit General

Wasn't sure which thread to post it in. The reactions to Hogwarts Legacy is hilarious and pathetic. Every single comment is just "JKR TERF LADY BAD!" or "Goblins = Jews, clearly JKR is racist!"

Only sane comment in my opinion, removed for mysterious reasons.

Oh look this is the "LotR orks = blacks" narrative again.
Also that they think that the very bland harmless feminist is a uber powerful tranny slayer who personally kills trannies is just so hilarious to me.

its just a cat.
If breathing became associated with nazis I'm sure they would post on reddit\twitter that they don't actually breath at all

love seeing kiwis :] I wish somebody had put a null or chris chan or something

Why is r/fuckcars so prominent? Do redditors hate cars that much?
Without powerleveling too much, I have noticed that in the world of local urban politics, involved zoomers have an unprecedented political solidarity around YIMBYism and public transit. It's honestly kind of based, they are tired of US urban cores all becoming more and more like L.A. and wish to emulate places like Rome or Kyoto instead, it's a shame that they all seem oblivious to any cultural issues that lead to this outcome.
Why did everything go white? Also did the Nazi cat make it in the final product?
Twice actually. One full sized cat and one little blobby version

I'm glad I left that shithole website

Shame about the small niche communities I left though

God speed ss13, you wonderful autists taught me new tricks
Yeah, Reddit really shines when it comes to small communities about something. Any community larger than 100,000 inevitably becomes hell on earth and the members soon gain terminal Redditor syndrome.

Ya know, other than being short men with big noses who work in banks, the Goblins are the least Jewish of all Jewish stereotypes I've ever seen. They have almost total control of the wizarding bank system and yet DON'T use that power to fuck others over or put themselves at the top. They're absolutely fanatic about upholding contracts, the breaking of contracts being one of the biggest legal no nos you can commit in their society. They're actually never shown to be greedy, either. Shit, my takeaway from the Goblins in Harry Potter is that they're the ONE group of people who your gold is actually safe with.

They might be a semitic trope, but I wouldn't say they're an antisemitic one.

The best communities had like 1k users average.

But most of them also use the /tg/13 forums so maybe one day I'll meet my homeboys again

Redditors are even getting triggered by letters now. Apparently, Z is some sort of Russian propaganda phrase.

It would be silly if reddit does ban the letter Z outright. God forbid, if you're a diehard fan of either Dragon Ball Z, or the Nissan Z. Maybe this hatred for Z is because they're diehard Supra (aka Zupra), Camaro, Challenger, or Mustang fans.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. 4chan is much more collaborative and much more "hecking wholesome" community, to reddit.
There is something about having to follow the popular opinion that makes people break.
I can tell you this, i met some of my best friends there and two of my friends got married because they met through there. They're still married (since 2015)

Well the site userbase has changed since then and since before that. Its much crappier now.
I think its actual reddit/twitter refugees doing it.

is that actually the case? from what ive seen 100k career level men expect an early 20s hottie and dont give many fucks about her career status or financial situation (unless she has serious debt that can be a deal breaker)
I have actually seen it where STEM majors were resentful of the fact that they might have to make more than their wives (god help them if they wanted to stay at home and raise kids) because they only really cared about their career and consooming. It was a bizarre middle class phenomenon. I think it is because the programming works both ways. It is stronger on women, but does affect men, in that they also become anti-natalists, anti-family to serve corporate gods.
