The fucked up part is she most likely will not. CPS has failed many, many times to step in and rescue children from atrocious environments that I have unfortunately been a witness to. I'm talking ghastly shit, meth/crack laden homes where both parents are constantly being arrested for drugs, DV, and plenty of other felonies. One example was an acquaintance of mine named Tarzan, real name Andrew, his parents had him go get air fresheners that they turned into pilos (meth pipes) almost every day, when he was 8. They also got their house raided for counterfeiting and a meth lab when he was 4, he said it was one of his earliest memories having an MP5 put in his face by a SWAT member while they flashbanged his parents room. CPS never came for him, and believe me, plenty of complaints and calls were made on his and his siblings behalf. His sister also died of malnutrition at 3. West Pittsburgh, CA (or Baypoint as they attempted to rebrand the town) was built on a literal dump covered in a huge slab of concrete where every house, even if immaculate, would be infested with roaches that would scatter when the lights turned on. The place was home to countless families with the same dynamic; crime, drugs, and exploiting children for monetary gain. It was straight out of a dystopian fiction. There has been two instances I have seen CPS step in, and both were entirely too late to save the children psychologically before they grew attached and bonded with their horrible families, and sadly we never knew the outcome of those instances, because they completely disassociate the children from their entire family and social circles.
