You are a predator Ralph, but not in the way you think you are like some apex predator, a lion among men of which you are not. You are a jackal, lonesome and loathsome, hanging at the fringes of society preying on the weakest, the most vulnerable and the easiest.
You have a wretched mind that is only matched by an equally wretched body and are no survivor anymore than a parasite is to be considered formidable.
I was going to say.
Ralph is more of a scavenging beast than some kind of predator.
I recall, but alas no source, a claim that the fabled T Rex may have been a kind of super scavenger.
While it could walk quickly, it could not run, so the theory was that it would approach larger dinosaurs that had already died or been killed by other dinos, its larger size scaring off the smaller scavengers and some small predators.
Whether that is still an accepted theory or not, I see Ralph as a similar form of monster.
A Warthog like beast, without the charm or toughness, but instead a girth and a loud call, which gives an illusion of a formidable creature, scaring off the rats, vultures, and other smaller or scurrying bottom feeders from the midden, so it can gorge on the shit others left behind.
As it is an incapable provider, it is forced to mate with the females of other species which have been rejected by the herd due to lameness or another unsuitability, but then allows others to raise their young like a cuckoo.
Its parasites in turn are things like weasels and toads, which follow it in the hope of snatching insects and smaller vermin it attracts. It will snap at these followers on occasion, to try and assert dominance.
The Gunt. A failure of a human-hog hybrid.
