Read closely, focus all of the six braincells you have to absorb this information. They are in an extremely draconian lockdown because there's an explosion of cases. Asymptomatic and mild cases because as this mainstream media article admits, it's omicron and that is far more mild than delta which was more mild than alpha and OG Wuhan.
The reason they do this is entirely political, but the West is getting to the point where the population isn't willing to put up with such harsh measures to prevent an illness that is now less deadly than the flu. Back when the lockdowns happened worldwide, no one knew what to expect and were terrified that it was going to be 10-30% fatal like other SARS viruses.
It wasn't. The shots were doled out around the time the less dangerous but more infectious delta was prevalent and BLM protests showed we could safely group up for months on end without the world ending. It showed how needless and political the whole lockdown thing was. Correlation, not causation.
Since the shots rolled out we have had the biggest spikes of covid in the whole fucking pandemic. By that metric, things got far worse, yet a lot of places eased restrictions because you can't go on living in a permanent lockdown. People wanted to move on and the lockdown caused far more human suffering and death than it prevented.
Omicron is on the level of another flu at worse. The virus itself solved the problem for us, not the shots. Right now we've had 400,000 breakthrough cases in my state by their own metrics. Because the shot is shit and does not work. It's little more than a placebo to quell the anxiety of idiots like yourself. It makes you feel better, but it does virtually nothing against omicron, since it was matched to the old Wuhan strain anyhow. Omicron's overwhelming mildness is more effective at managing covid than the shot has been.
The shot roll outs will dry up if the money dries up. Right now it's a great way of funeling tax payer money to special pharma interests. They would hook you up to a constant IV drip of it, if they could.
You really only benefit if you are a fossil at death's door. I'm fine with fossils taking the shot if they want to. Everyone deserves free choice.
Shots for coronaviruses have been notoriously difficult to make, and this time has turned out no different than expected. The shot doesn't work well, it doesn't last long, and I hope for your sake it actually turns out to be really harmful to long term human health and suffer, because if ever there was a person who deserves cancer, it's you.
As for covid, I already know a 90 year old woman with bone cancer undergoing chemo who has survived it twice. We can't say when our number is up, but putting things in perspective, I'm not worried at all on covid, and would rather die than take shots for the rest of my life, which is why I am also doing my best to avoid the type II diabetes too.
