I have yet to encounter either a therapist or psychiatrist who encourages transition. The closest I can think of is a female therapist I know, who had a patient once that went by a male name and male pronouns for about... two years, before reverting back to her original name and female pronouns. She's very happy with herself now, as I hear it. Also a music therapist with a patient who is a transman. I don't know the details of that, but her patient was long down that path before meeting her.
I guess this might have to do with differences between countries. The only people shilling HRT and SRS where I live are transgenders and their minions - no licensed psychologists. Yet.

I think it depends on where you live but as far as I am aware therapists don't have responsibility over their patient's actions unless they straight up tell them to self harm or commit crimes, and good luck convincing a court that hormones are self harm.

None of this would go to trial, none of it is actionable, and even if someone tried (with what time, money, lawyer?) who is going to win? The therapist, a calm and trained professional? Or the admittedly mentally ill, sexually mutilated transsexual who literally asked for it, the type people see all over the news and social media whining that if you don't give them what they want they'll die?

The neophallus consisted of thigh muscles for the penis, a right thigh skin sheet as the neourethra, and a lower abdominal sheet with an abdominal sheath as the skin envelope and padding for the urethra.
The dogs were assessed for function after 7 months.
The size created from the muscles were sufficient to yield a nearly normal appearance of the penis in the cadavers and animal studies. The muscles cause enough stiffness to accomplish normal coitus. Tissue studies showed an intact neourethra and nearly normal muscle structure in the inner layer of the canine neopenis, except for significantly increased amount of collagen fibers and type I/III collagen ratio in the outer layer of the neopenis.
How the fuck does this prove anything? You can slap dead tissue together any way you want, doesn’t mean it will heal in any way that is useful. Just because the dog is up and walking means nothing as far as pain goes. I had a little rescue who came from a puppy mill, and she didn’t seem to actually notice pain. She had x-rays done once after a seizure from jumping out of my arms and landing on her head, the vets were certain she was paralyzed as the amount of arthritis and damage in her backbone and the fact that she didn’t flinch when pinched between the toes showed she had no neurological connection. They then put her on the ground, she stood up, shook herself, and gave the vets a dirty look before marching away. Never had another issue. A human would’ve been in constant agonizing pain with the shit the vets saw in the x-ray.
