On PagiMoona someone asked Moona why she wasn't eating on stream, so she replied that basically that she wanted to respect viewers during this time. However someone flustered her by saying that her 3D was too revealing to be using during ramadan. I don't know if she decided to switch to her 2nd outfit for the rest of her streams for the next month or not. Good job debuffing your oshi assholes.

The difference is Council aren't her genmates, Gura is. Maybe she did think it was fine for just doing the the countdown. Personally I think she slept in or had to cancel last minute for real life matters and Lui was brought in as a last minute addition ( a welcomed one. She's fantastic). JP was going to get represented in the concert portion anyway. It's no big deal regardless what the decision making process was.

It was 7 in the morning for her. Not every EN member needs to be around for everyone's birthday, especially as they grow in members.

Yeah, I was asking about Zeta. $4.3k is maybe less than you thought from watching akasupas live, but it is wild for 1. HoloID and 2. a donation reading that was not a special occasion (she made $2.8k in SCs on her actual monetisation celebration). For comparison, Ollie got $4.8k in SCs on her 1 mil unsubathon. And Bae and Mumei didn't do much but Zeta has done even less that I know of. Not a knock against her, I've only caught her live thrice. Maybe she talked about K-drama or Kpop and I missed it lol.

Zeta did list Korean as one of her languages on her debut (at least in the learning section), so she's put it out there from the getgo. She's talked about liking manwha, k-pop I think, and little things here and there, but hasn't gone out of her way to really play it up a ton. But the KR watchers really seem to latch on to any little bone thrown their way and return it by throwing SCs.

Everyone from ID3 seems to be a big pickup for Cover. But yea, Kobo especially.

Kobo and Zeta both hit 300k during their valorant collab, so they are both doing well. Kaela isn't growing quite as quickly but she has her mommy niche and the silent laugh thing is getting her some clip traction as well. Also the family dynamics they seem to have - Zeta the older sister who like to tease her younger sibling, Kobo the bratty little sister, and Kaela the mom who tries to tard wrangle their antics but mostly fails and just laughs (silently) at them instead. They seemed to have meshed well and their gen collabs are a lot of fun, much better than council who initially had pretty rough collabs at debut. I think they have another ID3 Raft collab coming up, so that should be fun again.

So far for me Zeta has been great. I like her voice and she has her own brand of bratty/teasing (though not quite full kusogaki like kobo) that has worked well building a comradery with chat. A bit of pon too. Probably the biggest thing though is that she speaks english the best out of ID3. Not only better but much clearer and more frequent too. I often have streams going while doing other stuff and not totally focusing on it, so I need the EN so I can keep up with what is going on without having to always be watching the video and checking for translations, and she has offered the best experience in that regard.

Judging from how they split it, Gura was probably gonna be slotted in the second portion. Lui seems to have hit it off really well with Calli, the birthday call really solidified it; I think she was always gonna show up.

It also wasn't likely to be a last minute thing because they could've just replaced Gura but there's no one else in the Eastern timezone that's semi fluent and super friendly with Calli. Iofi and Moona's the next closest but they didn't show up to the birthday call(though its mostly likely scheduling cause Calli showed up to Iofi) and without the fluency, there's Watame, Marine, Fubuki(?), Korone(?, though this is prob Korone sided because she sent a vid like usual and its something she loves having fun with) and the rest of HoloX. Oh and Mel too, a nice surprise but it's been hinted at ever since DD worked on her alt's album.

RE: Calli mentioned twice at least in seprate streams that not all Hololive are buddy buddy with each other and listed several JP members she talks to off stream so I assumed she just wanted to closest ones to attend for both birthday streams. Else we might have A-chan again like last year or EN simp Polka.

Judging on how excited she seemed on her announcement and reveal stream I think she's wanted a change for awhile. All of the VOMs models are very stylized and stick out. This isekai model is something very cute for her to show off and I think that's what she really wants. She made a point to show off her hair and how it was sooooo fluffy. I personally prefer the original Pikame design myself but it is simplistic and not nearly as emotive as these cutesy models.
