Backtracking on this to say that it's 100% him now that I've listened to him more. Although I couldn't care less, more power to him. I'm able to let go, unlike this faggot making a subreddit for him and being the only member.
Sonny brisko is not your average vtuber. He has had over 10 years of experience on the YouTube scene under a channel called Sketchek. He not only faked his death, but has now completely abandoned his community to cater to weeaboos. More power too him for diversifying content, but he has truly left a burning pyro-shaped hole in the team fortress 2 community and hasn't acknowledged it. This sub is not for hate directed at this character, only general conversation around his presence in the vtuber community.

I have to laugh when anyone says the community will save the game. You mean the same community with constant drama? The same one who refuses to kick bots, even keeping them around to win games? The one where even the veteran players rely on "paste" hacks or lag abuse? The one where the youtubers are boring, but get exposed for hacking and/or pedophilia? The one that can't make decent community servers anymore, can't make decent content anymore except maybe lousy cosmetics if we're being generous? The one that trashed its trading through the sheer volume of idle bots and trade bots? That community?

I used to love TF2, but there's no denying that TF2 is shit because the community actively seeks shit to eat! And it's not worth sweeping the shit to get to whatever good game lies underneath.

Basically both sides, the dev team and the players are pants-on-head-retarded to be able to "save" the game. Who knew.

It wouldn't surprise me if his motivation for faking the terminal illness in the first place was because he didn't want to incur the harassment that happens when tf2 youtubers try to branch out to other games.

A port that appears to be tied to another project on the Source 2 engine (in the sense of development and some of it being based on their scripting infrastructure), S&Box. It's a spiritual successor to Garry's Mod, so there's a potential crossover between this thread and the Facepunch/KO thread over at Community Watch in the future.

CS:GO is fine imo no trannies the only problem is tons of hackers and whenever a woman joins she becomes the center of attention.

Tf2 however is fucked. It’s expected for the Reddit to suck ass because Reddit is a sanitized hellhole chalk full of faggots but for the game to reflect the Reddit 1:1 is scary.

There's no game that fills the void, that's the worst part. Everything is either shit, caters to the competitive crowd, or dies.

There's also not any game that has TF2's ability for endless user maps, skin mods, or huds that you can change to your preference. Back in the day, people would hop on a ton of servers until they found the communities they liked, whether that server had any of the mentioned custom content or not. Players in every modern multiplayer FPS game can't make a server with their preferred rules, they are all fed into the cancer that is matchmaking. It's all about money and not what's fun for the consumers.

I'm stuck at MG2 and I'm fearful if I try to continue ranked again. There seriously needs a fix for matchmaking, starting by region-blocking the Chinks away at global CS.

As if the state of TF2 couldn't get any worse, now they've got FAKE servers with randomly generated names, playercounts, maps, fake players playing that all redirect you to [the same exact Gravel pit server] and pollute the server browser list with their fake entries.
