I legitimately consider Tumblr banning porn the largest mistake that has happened to the internet. It worked as such an effective honeypot for the psychotic/mentally ill Alphabet people. Didn't Ina's ISP fuck her over in a really shady way? I remember it being something like, "We throttled your Internet because you've been uploading and downloading too much, maybe you should upgrade. Maybe paying us more will help this issue."

Yep, prior to moving to North America I had no clue they were allowed to do shit like that. Hell I think even cell carriers in NA throttle for literally no reason even IF you pay them more money.

Yes. She ended up having to get a second, business level Internet plan into the house. To this day she resets her internet before streams and runs tests. A week ago her Internet was acting up like it had before she got the upgrade. Canadian ISPs are a fucking racket.

Anyone know if there's a way to listen to these Twitter Spaces without either the Twitter app or the web site? Already tried Streamlink but that doesn't work.

The web site will work mostly fine… for about five to ten minutes before the audio starts skipping unlistenably. Like, large gaps of 30 seconds between short spurts of audio. Am I the only one seeing that? Reloading the tab and clicking the buttons to restart the audio works… for about five to ten minutes before it happens again.

America truly is a cursed land, middle of bumfuck nowhere, Eastern Europe regularly gets better speeds, and also isn't as unstable, and you don't get mugged every month for it.

Isps in North America are just prime example of what happens when theirs a local monopoly on a commodity. If you live in the city you're usually fine, but elsewhere there's only one or two options for internet service. Now granted, America is huge so infrastructure isn't gonna be same from one place to the other. Though I doubt throttling is due to that often times. More to encourage upgrading your service.

Now that I think about it. I remember dealing with coaxial for a lot of old buildings that stick to that or copper cause cost to much to upgrade otherwise.

There are a disproportionate amount of Filipino's getting assblasted about Karen's first song. Probably mad that her grandparents probably have had half a dozen Flip maids working for them for peanuts over the years.
