That was exactly how I felt. When she first showed up I believed her medical pathologist lie and therefore found her sperging about the surgeries enlightening and funny. The first time my brain went "okay munchie" (or one of them, anyway) was when she was when she was advocating that people with anxiety were disabled and needed to use the handicapped single-stall bathroom to freak out because it was bigger. Literally the opposite of what people with physical disabilities who need those bathrooms want is someone who can't handle life using them as their private panic room because they need them when they have to pee. Funny that it's basically the other half of the they just wanna pee debate; people actually need to use those specific bathrooms and she was advocating that these people who could go find some other quiet place would be more comfortable using them.

(I'm not the "no one else can ever use those, only wheelchairs" type. A normal bathroom break isn't likely to really hurt anyone. But telling munchies to go occupy the only disabled toilet for extended periods for their attention-seeking fake panic attacks is shitty)

I think sex based differences like these are fascinating as is witnessing the fallout when people think they can troon out with zero consequences. Chronicling the injurious harm people experience when taking cross sex hormones or getting experimental SRS surgeries is important and necessary and Sierra was doing good work. People loved this content. However I will also admit that I was one of the first on the farms calling her on her cow behavior, so many also saw this shit coming from a mile away. She can both be a cow and a capable researcher. It’s unfortunate that she let her cow behavior overshadow the more important stuff.

ETA: Are there any credentialed professionals doing this research and reporting on it? I really don’t like the idea that only “experts” are allowed to talk about this stuff. Because as of now none are and more kids and young adults are getting hurt. She has never been a capable researcher. When her channel first began she was mostly providing definitions and context to some common medical ideas/terms that anyone could grasp with some reading. Like saying what a fistula is, etc

I’m not going to Sierra Stan but I’m also not going to argue that she’s an irredeemable retard. She’s far more capable at understanding medical topics than the average layman. Like many, we drew the line with the Prader Wili shit and then with her CAIS unraveling. But I’m not going to pretend her videos about the botched phallos and amhole surgery didn’t have a net positive on stopping this lunacy because they did. So many people had zero idea how bad this shit was until watching her videos. It’s not mutually exclusive.
