Herzog, Singal, and Sullivan have all been getting some form of this argument over the past few days. They ignored LGBTQ warnings about a backlash; they ignored conservative warnings about a backlash. So I actually agree that their fence-sitting is incredibly lame, but you can't blame centrist incrementalists for the NAMBLA-baiting that keeps happening re: trans ideology in education.
