To be fair, most Americans are also pro legal immigration.
I hate when people say, "Look! The poll says X, therefore you must agree with the poll." This isn't how activism works. Your job as an activism/revolutionary is to change people's mind and that means going against the grain on issues like immigration or race mixing or russiaphobia. The obvious reason 90% of people think Russia bad is because they aren't getting any content that is pro Russia. John Mearsheimer makes a solid pro-Russia arguement which is that they don't plan to invade Europe, US needs to reposition against China rather than waste money on NATO, and US needs an alliance with Russia to counter China's rise.
If you look at Putin's rhetoric or policies then it's clear he isn't much different from your standard civnat social warrior republican. I've gone to normiecons and said, "The same people who told you orange man bad are now telling you Putin bad. Why are you listening to these people?" Republicans as a group are exhausted from forever wars and they don't trust the media after Russian collusion hoax, BLM, vaccines, etc so the polls don't show how fragile Republican support for the media's narrative is. If Fox News would stop being CNN-lite state propoganda, those poll numbers would change and it's the job of activists like Nick to move the Overtone Window. That's why it's unfair to say, "Another reason why Nick Fuentes will never be the future of the GOP."
