Yeah, that is what is baffling me the most about the whole Trump thing since it started. The guy sells his con as some man of the people/tribune bullshit, while he is clearly everything but not a man of the people. He just inherited all that wealth from his father.

Literally Biden would be a better man of the people with his background. (SPOILER: That's why he won the election in a year where millions of Americans went through economic misery and were hit by a pandemic due to Drumpf who never gave a fuck about "his people")

But, well, MAGAtards don't care about all of that. Trump can say the absolute opposite of what his followers do want to hear, they will still say that he somehow supports what they want. (As happened with the COVID vaccine for instance)

Further; The GOP had a moment of clarity and reassessed the bill, it's now got an 18+ requirement. Course, they didn't get away clean, as Tom Leatherwood (R-Tennessee) said this was "unnecessary".

Cuz NOBODY in fucking Tennessee would DARE think to use marriage as a loophole to fuck an underage girl, right?

You forgot Mark Foley, I couldn't find the age of the pages, but the articles says that two of them were underage.
Wikipedia has a list of sex scandals involving federal politicians. When I looked at the scandals involving underage victims from the last century the clear majority were Republicans. The ones involving Democrats were Anthony Weiner (sexted a 15 year old girl) and Strom Thurmond (not really a Democrat in the modern sense, but he was technically a Democrat at the time he impregnated his underage servant).
I don't know how complete that list is and it doesn't include non-federal politicians, but the evidence seems to indicate that GOP stands for Gross Old Pedophiles.

Basically, Disney spends money on the state government so that they have to pay as little tax as they have to, and basically with decades of this have as much rights as a separate country does. Anyways back on track, of course the Don't Say Gay bill starts making it's why up the legislature and LGBT (rightfully) throw a hissy fit over the bill. Well they noticed that Disney, a company who's a large portion of its workforce that are LGBT, or at least their CEO, was still donating to the state GOP/Ron DeSantis. Of course that is a big no-no and a strike and walkout was planned, which scared the shit out of Disney so they basically kneeled to them and said they would stop donating if the bill was passed. Of course the bill went through and blah blah blah somehow Disney is made up of pedophiles (probably true) who want to turn all your kids trans (hopefully true).
