Just to remind you of what was always the goal. No one cares about conquering Poland or the Baltics, that's just more mouths to feed. It's easier to crush them economically and to play them against their allies until they come begging by themselves. The whole goal of this operation was not to conquer all of Ukraine and then deal with rebuilding it and feeding them. The goal was to recapture the Donbass and Lugansk regions, and to destroy the NATO-created military infrastructure and command structure. Now that the military infrastructure and command structure have been destroyed, they can mop up the remaining pockets of insurgents in the Donbass and surrounding areas. Then Putin can parade around some captured NATO officers, have some tribunals for top ranking nazis, and then Zelensky will bend the knee himself.
