Something weird even by Lucas standards is going on here.
I saw that outcast autists video yesterday and he looks and sounds weak and frail and severely depressed. He acted like he could barely speak or walk and didn't fully know where he was.
But then there he is on Facebook right back up to his old tricks and using that pretentious writing style he does with the overly perfect grammar and all the usual Hello Fellow Smart Youths crap he used to do before they put him away.
Total Jekyll & Hyde switch.
Genuinely I can't understand what is going on with him at this point. Which is the real version of how he is doing and which is the fake one?

Believe the owls video. Everything else he is doing online is him trying to save face.
My immediate thought watching that video is Lucas is in very bad health. Then when he pukes after having a little beer it only reinforced it.
Lucas is not going to be around much longer at this rate. He doesn’t care about his health and is doing nothing to better himself. If anything his denial mechanism is going into overdrive as he shovels more food into his mouth with no concern about his diabetes or his weight. He is miserable at Mallon. He is basically committing suicide by food as it‘s the only thing left to him. The temporary pleasure outweighs the long term consequences.
The food, the bed, roof over his head and the meds are the only thing keeping him at Mallon. I still think he may try to hit the streets again this summer but it would be his last hurrah before he is 6 feet under.

I think the Creep is not going to do anything when he is with the Owls that would lead them to not seek him out. That is why he was so "reserved" when he met up with them. More Mallon Place meal postings. Unpopular opinion, but some of these meals he posts actually do not look too bad. Some certainly do, but others look decent, this one included. Honestly, sometimes I am stuck eating some canned ravioli or some frozen meal, just cause that is what I have and I am too busy to cook or go get something else. So, yeah, I would say some of these meals are better than what I eat sometimes.
And Lucas was eating yogurt with a stick he found on the ground and ramen noodles with colored pencils. Also, all the shelter meals, which he never seemed to post pictures of. Of course, this was in between his fancy meals at Clinker Daggers and Gander and Rye Grass, and Red Robin, etc. But some of this food seems to be a step up. I guess since he can't interupt this routine with a $65 steak, then that makes him unhappy.
It is interesting how he is more unhappy now that he has a roof over his head, meals provided, access to a shower and clean clothing, then when he was when he was living at the bus depot. I guess since he has lost control of his tardbux to piss $700 a month away on fancy food and Motel 6 rooms before returning to ragman row, then life is just not too good anymore.
He is so ungrateful for everything. He always has been. The cow keeps moooing for more and feels he should never have to work for anything. If we get an escape from the nursing home saga, it will be an exciting new chapter in a truly exceptional and autistic life. I just hope it makes the news and they tell everyone to be on the lookout for an obese balding man who waundered away from Mallon Place and to please call the police if seen.
