For one, the USSR was atheist, and for two, the Orthodox church is absolutely both an older church than the Catholic church and because it doesn't have the silly view of believing that the pontiff is infallible, it's arguable that they're much more aligned with the original teachings of Jesus Christ.

The whole reason that the Jew clown got elected President was his promise to Russian speakers that he'd bring the war to a close and normalise relations with Russia, as opposed to his pure globohomo opponent.

The video we see of him in the slightly over sized helmet and body armor (the dude is tiny) is him visiting the Dobas front after he got elected. He had promised to stop the shelling and withdraw the army and negotiate with the Donbas Russians. He of course corrected almost immediately after being informed by the burgers that they'd unleash their pet Nazis on him. Even if you think Zelensky came in with the best of intentions to bring peace there really wasn't much he could do as he obviously doesn't run the country, the US State Department does.

I mean you're right, they're not english, they're so German they had to hide it during WW1, not that the british nobility was all that important back then. Important part is that the part of the Russian people that led the country to victory against Poland aren't there anymore. It's now in the hands of former Soviet officials, and things aren't going that great against one of the poorest nations in Europe.
