What is it with skinheads and looking like textbook nazi propaganda of subhumans?
It's a classic. Nearly every Azov member fits the meme.

I haven't checked the citations, but Wikipedia lists the UK as having received $31.4 billion dollars worth of supplies, while the Soviets $11.3 billion.
Important part here being "wikipedia". Same article even mentions the fact that the bill the USSR got was higher than the UK, and unlike the USSR the US actually trusted that the UK was good for the money. With the USSR they had to eventually renegotiate it to an even lower fee of 700 million. It also doesn't explain the USSR getting half of all US tonnage.
Perhaps we shouldn't trust someone just putting a number on lend lease to the soviets considering the public don't even have access to the full information regarding how much the USSR received. it still being considered a state secret by both the US and Russian government.
Still, lend lease wasn't even the most important contribution. The most important was the US and UK bombing German infrastructure back to the stone age. The Germans had barely any functioning trains or roads by 1943, and the Russians were still being encircled within Russian territory and needed full mobilization to have a chance of outgunning German forces near Kursk.

"if you think nazi germany suffered terminal resource and fuel starvation that fucked its logistics beyond repair and eventually rendered it incapable of operating in any meaningful way you am a nazi"
Better luck next time, Hans :story:

The thing is - Moscow at its weakest couldn't be gutted by Poland, whereas Russia has partitioned Poland like three or four times.
So, I'm confused by this. Is Russia super strong with numbah wun military and resistant to invasion or do they need about 14 buffer states to keep from being invaded because they "supew vunuwabuw ;_;". What is it?

All those WW2 comparisons, both here and in the official propaganda, are rather tiresome.
Can't say 'fight another war' like 'read another book', but here's some historical trivia: in the Soviet prison system, nazi symbols were popular as being contrarian to the regime. So that goes probably both for Russians and Ukrainians alike, and it's not that uncommon to see some element of nazist symbolism in prison tattoos.
Of course that doesn't mean that some do not embrace the ideology as well, context plays a huge role there.

Part of that was because the axis was fucking retarded when it came to unified planning. It was Germany steering the boat without regards to any input from the others, and the others doing their own retarded thing. No efforts at common equipment between the various counties, no real unified command, and surprisingly little sharing of technology between the counties.
A lot of the issues germany and italy and indeed the UK had in WW2 was due to the fact that all had prepared for the kind of war that simply didnt happen, both in terms of priming their economies and managing their resources and in terms of their equipment that they had to make do with for the length of the war

Its why a lot of UK battle doctrine and tank design was based on the idea of it being a WW1 style war, italian tanks were lightweight and lightly armed cheap and easy to produce machines solely built for combat in mountainous areas against nations without tanks, and germanys entire grand strategem was built around the fundamental assumption that the UK would never enter the war and blockade germany again, thus preventing it from accessing the oil and resources it needed to properly conduct the war it wanted against the USSR.

American flag patches are dime a dozen when buying tactical gear. I've seen an airsoft player from Italy who had a thin blue line American flag patch on his "tactical" jacket.
Either that Italian guy really loves American cops or shit got tossed in for free in the order.
