Question for the guys in this thread, because I've long wondered - if you ever became or hypothetically were born as a candidate for penile reconstruction, would you get this done? Most phalloplasty methods seem crude to me, but I do feel a bit differently if it's genuine reconstruction, and not just for gendie feelings. Even if it's not perfect it at least makes some sense. It's a similar weird scenario where vaginoplasty is done for women with vaginal agenesis (obviously a different technique from troon ditches since there's no male anatomy to rearrange).

A lot depends on how much of the original penile tissue is left over and what the method is. I would try to restore functionality as much as possible, as it is easier to rebuild something that was originally there vs. trying to make something that never existed in the first place.
