General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I should just start shilling the best girl whenever the thread starts to have its shitfit.
I prefer shilling over people 'trolling'. I feel like we've had an increase of people starved for drama, so they manufacture it themselves.... I mean, there is a whole forum outside of this thread if you really want it. Don't be a lolcow tipper, maintain a safe distance lest you get infected.
ah Crossick

Where the overzealous shippers of Niji thrive. Shame it's made them kinda cagey on collabing nowadays.
Shippers seem awfully good at sinking things.

Minecraft technical difficulties that dragon brain doesn't understand, so karaoke. Airy, gentle voice, I quite like it.

Pippa unlisted tonight's stream, so here's the URL
Maybe Pippa is the sort of person where talking to a person for the first time in public on a stream isn't so great. Nothing against her, just extra awkward. It's a weird position where you are expected to be buddy-buddy on camera with someone you might not have interacted with much, and maybe a bit of time for stream prep could be an actual, brief voice call meeting each other. Imagine giving a powerpoint presentation with someone you just met irl, with only a little email correspondence beforehand. That would take a certain level of skill, and pipkin is not one of them.

So now that the other half is back, and words on how the duo will going forward? Last I heard Tomoe said something along the way of it being too invasive and people just don't have a tact and will discuss is with Sukoya when she return. Is it on burner now like NoeFure?
Edit: Clip I mentioned

I generally think gatekeeping is ok these days, but when I see people unleash their superiority complex over reddit or /vt/ I just can't help but recoil from the sheer unawareness it exposes. It's the exact same thing those places do and it's not as if posting here is really any better or worse. It's different, and the differences should be preserved, but just go through this thread from the beginning and you'll see just how similar this place is to either of those sites. Hell, just go through the last 20 pages and you'll experience the hugbox of reddit and the rrating of /vt/ together.
I just wanted to highlight these important phrases.

Ah jeez, now I feel bad about the childhood trauma comment, and like I should explain.
The first 45 minutes to an hour of that collab felt like Tomo and Non were on a date, but someone's parents wanted them to bring little sister Pippers along. Now, I genuinely feel like Pippers did nothing wrong in this situation, but there was just nothing to fucking talk about with these two. Non at least showed interest in talking and learning about minecraft towards the end, but the twink was just making smalltalk for a full two hours.

Also the twink going "Is Noel the guy from Genshin Impact?" and then being confused by the Knight-Cup joke was some serious v-grifter shit.

Thank God for people who reupload archives of karaoke streams.

Fauna is far from being the best singer from Hololive (or anywhere, really) but her fluffy voice just hits me different. Add that to the fact that she's pretty immune to cringe(her words) and silly. It just helps me feel relaxed. Hell, I never really liked ASMR, then she came along.

First song Fireflies was pretty good to chill to.

I'm catching up on this vod and I figured /vt/ was just being /vt/ with what they were saying, but no it really is an annoying faggot who comes in and immediately feels the need to incessantly remind everyone he's a faggot, and it was still getting worse before I had to close the tab.
This whole thing is so weird, I don't get who this was even for or who this appeals to.

Time to get culturally enriched
Out of all the language class/conversation series currently running in Holo, I like Reine's the most. Reine is good at collabs in general and her lessons are most like an actual class even when (or because) they get ridiculous. ReiRyS have also collabed before several times and they have good chemistry.

Important lesson:

Jomblo = single, with the implication it's not by choice (Reine's words).

Considering they have know each other from wayyyy back in Utaite scene, guess that's to be expect. I also think the two are among the top when it come to navigating social clues and brining their collab partner out of their shells compare to other Holomem, which isn't saying much when the majority are extream introvert homebody.

Kson is doing a test Twitch stream. Speaking a lot of English at the moment.

Some points for people who miss it:
  • Kson asks chat what rules there are on Twitch, notes that she cannot punch someone in the face until they bleed on Twitch.
  • Someone tells her she can do bathtub streams on Twitch, she replies that she wants to do that.
  • Stream was supposed to last 15 minutes, but she decided to "test what ARK looks like on her Twitch stream."
  • Snuffy and Ironmouse appeared in chat and welcomed her to Twitch.
  • Someone posted a giant ASCII art pizza in chat and made Kson laugh.
  • Someone on her server made "KFD" (Kentucky Fried Dinos? No, "Kson's server Fried Dodos") and Kson slipped up while looking for it and asked "Where's my KFP?"
