Kinda doesn't help that there aren't a lot of people making TIHYDP's now, unless they decide to go back and do them on older kahntent, which was where Phil was more susceptible to purposefully demonstrating his shitty skills but at the same time not sounding bored out of his mind and somewhat engaged.
I won't power level, but I tend to be one of the more vehement critics of Phil and all the shit he does, but I will hand this to him that Phil really has managed to make it very difficult (although not impossible) for detractors to milk this sort of cow, he's just become far too boring overall, he's gone very much out of his way to play easy mode handholding and walking simulator games, and If he does play a game with even a slither of challenge halting his progress, it's easy to tell when he's reading up on shit to beat the game with prior knowledge, pretty much making the playthrough ineligible to see any genuine enjoyment in both a dent head fan or troll/detractor.
The money buff he receives has also helped him. You know what he has actually changed, but not for the better from our perspective, he's become just far too fixated on his monetary goals and it's basically ground hog day now with how much he brings it up whenever he needs to remind people and he really needs support to "pay his bills" otherwise he literally doesn't know what else to do.
