I think culturally, the US is possibly the biggest shithole in the western world. In terms of wealth, it's not, but that's changing pretty rapidly. You certainly have more and more of the middle class being pushed towards destitution, and it's already damn near impossible for a married couple to afford children if they're both earning a lower-middle-class salary. I'm hoping this will lead to the rise of an American NSDAP since there's no way the Jews could realistically fight against that, but I'm not holding my breath.

You have Russians looting like it's a Black Friday sale, shelling areas indiscriminately, and shooting anything that moves in case its hostile.

Then you have Ukrainians firing from schools/hospitals, torturing and killing POWs (And broadcasting it), and using every corpse on either side for propaganda.

And they've both brought in their personal psychos and let them off the leash.

Russians have Chechens running around like it's Mad Max, shooting people and destroying property for shits and giggles, eating peoples pets in front of them, and leaving boobytraps in civillian-occupied areas.

While the Ukies have their Azovs shooting civillians trying to flee for being 'cowards' or 'Russian Sympathizers', torturing/killing any Russians (Military or otherwise) that they find, and "Commandeering" food and supplies from the populace.

Neither side are being shining examples of humanity worth cheering for.

Generally the side on the backfoot will be a lot angrier and desperate to give the other side the fear factor. So I understand why the Ukrainian military, (not just azov) have done most of the more fucked up stuff, with video evidence to back it up. And also post the majority of spoofs. That's how war has always been even if there are some glimmers of humanity.

I am not pro invasion, honestly think Russia should have just admitted their communist/Yeltsin era leaders were absolute morons; who left those territories on a silver platter, and taken the L for this period in history. Waited for the west to destabilise to weasel them back into their pockets. Yeah the west would try to further balkanise Russia, but I don't think it would have succeeded unless Putin's successor is an utter moron.

Yeah the west would try to further balkanise Russia, but I don't think it would have succeeded unless Putin's successor is an utter moron.

All signs point to the fact that, yes, all of Putin's potential successors are either weak, or incompetent, or both.
