I think to get enjoyment out of him you'd have to be following the whole "trans trend" online. He isn't a trainwreck, making drama or making chaotic decisions, but he is interesting because he is symbolic of everything trans.

I've been lurking this thread since he came out because it completely changed my view of trans people.
I know people who were big fans of him who cried and were happy for him when he came out, and now have completely dropped him. The delusions, over theatrical exaggerations and narcissism is so blunt that normies have to put in 120% brainpower to pretend that this is a woman until they get worn out and give up.

I don't think he'll ever do anything to achieve full lolcow status, but the most entertaining part about him for sure isn't him, but the second-hand embarrassment he radiates.

True. I suppose if he were full cowing, we wouldn’t get to see his machinations on such a relatively big stage.

We get to enjoy Diet cow flavouring in full bright HD on a public stage and that is miles more cringe then Amhole tweeting about his disgusting various fetishises into the void.
I do hope we get at least one big bang though - I suspect we might too- he will never reach the heights he craves, and that will have repercussions, hopefully like a full meltdown.

I don't even really want Olly to go 'full lolcow', I mostly pay attention to him because of his laughable attempts to be an intellectual, woman, actor, and real person, in that order.

I've followed people like Lowtax, Lindsay Ellis and Chris Chan on and off and generally when they blow up the result is just really depressing and not very fun. Olly's oafishness, narcissism and shallowness results in enough humour and absurdity for me, and this thread often has surprisingly in depth discussions about things like trans rights in the UK or philosophy that he fundamentally misunderstands.

Having said that, his youtube output seems to have trailed off and it was always things like making fun of his dumb Athena outfit that I found the most fun, so there's less stuff in general to talk about.

Edit: jeez, looking at his channel he's only put out 7 videos in the last year, and I would consider him one of the more productive breadtubers!

I haven't watched anything but don't understand why there's so much fellating of Paris Lees in this thread.
Lees committed a robbery that ended up killing the victim. He is probably worse that PT.

And I do think that criminals, after they did their time, have a right to reintegrate society. Especially if they had a shitty start in life like Lees. But maybe not as arbiters of morality who are paraded in the medias ... out of respect for the victim's loved ones.

If i have to be lectured on how transphobic society is, it can at least be by someone else, someone who took no part in killing someone.

idk about the rest of you I'm here because I'm a terrible person with no respect for the fact that I have a finite amount of time on this earth and am too cowardly to just commit to drug addiction of any kind

with that out of the way: this might be haram to admit but I actually admire Olly's resilience to some degree. While his breadtuber peers are aging into pallid, bloated ghouls thanks to a life of drugs and scrolling twitter, he's just constantly acting optimistic with that trademark blend of pompous, high minded academic and stupid bimbo e-girl caricatures that he bizarrely decided was his new persona. While his youtuber pals make joyless, strained public appearances to slow the erosion of their paypig base as the internet replaces them with younger, more energetic and fanatical faces, having done nothing else except fail to break meaningfully into other industries, Olly is convinced he's going to make it as an actor/model/professor/secret agent/politician/etc. such to the point that he isn't crushed by the existential weight of a total dependence on dwindling patreon support like his friends. Maybe some day it'll all catch up with him and he'll be as miserable as Lindsay Ellis, but who knows, maybe life really is unfairly kind to wealthy people and he'll just live his dream life until he dies and that'll be that. Either way he'd make for the most entertaining biopic out of any breadtuber so far.

At a glance I thought "oh Ollie looks quite nice here" and then realised it's only because he's next to Devon doing a douche face and flexing (which you can't even see) and the abomination that is Alice doing what can only be described as a special needs pout. Ollie's even managing a somewhat genuine smile.

The candids can help remind us of reality.

I think that Olly lasted this long because before transition, he was so unremarkable that no one even bothered to send him hate. he was a completely average bumbling white guy and they never seem to receive the same level of scrutiny and seething e-rage until they do something beyond the pale….

Contra and Lindsay Ellis have been receiving hate for years and years which ramped up to the Twitter mob being after them repeatedly. As far as I know Olly got a taste of it by voicing in one of contras vids and then the mob told him to publicly disavow her… but otherwise there hasn’t been all that much to need resilience.

I don’t doubt that the online attacks are stressful (even if it is a “career” of their choosing, and made worse by them) but Olly hasn’t really had the experiences that drive others over the edge. With his very fragile ego I’m sure he’d be very bothered if the mob came for him. He’s been very upset by a couple Reddit pages gone awry lol lol

This is such an odd picture because I didn't even recognise that was PT for a moment. Heavy eyeliner can really change someone's appearance, not to mention certain lighting and angles. Devon is also styling himself here pretty similarly to how Ollie looked before he trooned, the hair in particular reminds me of how his hair was in the Confucius video (he also often had that minimal facial hair look Devon has here in most videos, as far as I can recall).

Since it is a new month, Olly has once again graced his paypiggies with a picture of his eyes and a print out of their names again. How these pay piggies can think giving this rich boy their hard earn dollars for these terrible pictures eludes me.
