There have been accusations that the Bucha corpses were staged, here's a random article (archive) on it that has some video and audio with a supposedly translated transcript. I assume that's the narrative "behind the curtain" so to speak but not sure.
If they do believe this then they may be doing another "we expect this to happen" like they did when copying the US regarding the accusation Russia was going to do a chemical attack and then it didn't happen so the White House said "we said that so they wouldn't do it."

This is what I am referring to in the A&N thread. Did I say I believe this article? Did I say anything about my views at all?
I didn't say anything. You pro-Ukraine rabid-posters keep reading stuff that isn't there and getting worked up over it. Funnily enough, I almost added "This place looks very biased so take it with a grain of salt" but felt it was wordy enough and that my lack of faith in the source was implied when I said it was "a random article."

Trying to understand the context of why Russian officials would say what they said about Irpin and you act like I agreed with anything they or the article said. To spare your misinterpretation of this post, I haven't stated my thoughts on Bucha, Irpin, the Russian MoD's claims, or anything regarding any staged incidents. The reason is because I don't know jack shit about any of it.

To be fair, a good portion of the Azovs are batshit insane and using this war as a chance to go around shooting whoever the fuck they feel like and saying "They were Russian sympathizers"

And torturing POWs. And strong-arming food, vehicles, and other supplies from civvies trying to flee. Not to mention their attacks on Donbas gave Russia the phony justification to start the invasion in the first place.

They may be doing a lot of successful fighting, but they're still a bunch of neo-nazi thugs at their core. The media is conveniently downplaying that right now.

Yep. It's legit. Like I said, that video really hit a nerve with the Russians. Nobody hurts our little old ladies and gets away with it.
