They're walking into a cauldron regardless. I've heard even vets with actual war experience who went over to join up with Ukraine have said the war's going so much worse for them than the reports make it seem. Of course we all knew that, but some people keep buying the 700-1 KD ratio and lol russia stoopid memes. It's been plain as day from the start that everything coming out of Ukraine is propaganda to entice foreign aid and boost morale and NATO's helping because of all the financial ties and biolabs they've got.

Canadian Air Force elements attacked a Russian formation sometime today. Expect a statement from Trudeau in the next 24 hours.

I really very, very much doubt it's Canada and even If this is true than I don't think anyone could of foreseen fucking Canada being the first to start shit. I would be expecting any of the former eastern block or other Territories near Russia that have grudges against them to throw the first stone into the pile. Not fucking Canada of all fucking nations.

And if it really is fucking true than fucking why. Is it a squad gone rogue? Is Trudeau desperate for any increase in popularity? Did they do it as a surprise intervention because no one would expect the Canadian inquisition? Did they drink all of the propaganda kool-aid that it's fucked their minds to attack.

The only questions I have on my mind now is two things.

Is it true/real and if so...fucking why is it CANADA.

I doubt it's Canada, too if that clip isn't from something else. I cannot find anywhere on Twitter or /pol/ or anywhere else talking about this besides here. So I have to ask where those "rumors" of it being a Canadian air strike came from in the first place.

Ukraine stonk, we will fight Russia in Donbass and we will win. But also you guys need to step up sanctions, and send more weapons, and Russia’s military is so strong it’s an existential threat to Europe, and we’re still totes willing to solve this diplomatically.

Unless the AFU army in the east is sitting on 1000 pieces of armor and 200 planes that the Russians don’t know about they’ve gotta be so horrendously hosed. After 8 weeks of fighting and being increasingly cut off from the rest of Ukraine Lord knows what their food and ammo supply looks like,

But yeah I just don't trust anything talking about Russian casualties, behaviors, setbacks, or movements right now. Russia and Ukraine now have an established history of lying and it's to be expected - the Ukrainian stuff in particular is just ridiculous. Perhaps if Russian officials put out more info then it'd be just as absurd but it seems lopsided for now. Most of the time I dig into article sources it's just some Ukrainian official or journalist saying it with nothing to back it up.
Earlier in the invasion with the biolabs, Russia went a bit Alex Jonesy and talked about diseased birds being able to spread bioweapons into Russia undetected from the biolabs which isn't entirely unfounded but is retarded to say. The internet/press reaction to that was no better but it is understandable and it was a funny take from the Russians.

The whole "Ukraine keeps pounding the table and says they need more weapons so they're doing extremely poorly" argument is dumb for this exact reason. Ukraine views this war as a war of national survival, that if they lose or if Russia gets all it's demands Ukraine will cease to exist.

When you think like that, of course you're going to be pounding the table as hard as you can to get every rifle you can out of foreign aid.

Tbh that's not really a retarded thing to say, most governments draw up plans on those kinds of what ifs, not even from an attack from another country, birds potentially causing a pandemic is a very real possibility.

I don't trust this source for a few reasons but you really only need one.

Similarly here, rumors continue to mount that Phase 2 is very close to kicking off, or has already kicked off in part (as reported by those like Gonzalo Lira, etc)

There was a presumably bogus claim that a US general died in Mariupol and was the main VIP they were after but it hasn't been discussed much because there isn't much known except somebody really wants someone out of there who is worth multiple helicopters, soldiers, and possibly a ship.

It wouldn't surprise me if westerners are there but what they'd be doing is anyone's guess. Whatever is there is important and all parties involved know it but Russia is keeping them trapped.
