He's a Gura simp but he has collabed with NijiEN, PhaseConnect and probably will get to somehow collab with HoloEN at some point mainly because he has a huge following and streamers/content creators usually end up hanging around in the same spaces.

The thing is, Gura havent recognized Sykunno same as Calli did and still does with the welsh, its like in a year and a half of streaming she knows what fanbase she built up and a collab with him (even if its less hated than the welsh) might bring some controversy, and she avoids that like the plague, also its the reason why she doesnt use twitter too much.

Hell, she even recognized PewDiePie & GameGrumps before Sykunno, and she doesnt have plans to collab with them either.

I haven’t posted in this thread for a while but I will say this…
I don’t feel there’s much interest for the newer generations for Vtubers mainly Nijisanji with EN Gen 5 and hololive with HoloX and ID Gen 3. I think we’ve reached the stalemate of Vtubing and I expect the decline to happen very soon.

This is purely due to the EN sphere oversaturating the hobby and basically making it seem like there's no interest. Back in 2018-2020 it was still a growing hobby and not everyone and their 2nd cousin wanted to be a Vtuber of some sorts. Today you can't go 20 minutes on Twitter without seeing a new Vtuber "debuting soon" or starting drama in the En community. There's definitely interest for some time to come, the pandemic buff wearing off, as predicted, will hit the EN side harder than it will JP because on the eastern side, they aren't pumping out 7 billion indies every day or virtually "sharing" a user base, e.g HoloEN and NijiEN are largely comprised of the same general base based on a lot of user crossover I've noticed. If the market didn't get absolutely flooded out I guarantee there would be way more hype for "newer generations" than it appears. Most people are still pining to get into Nijisanji or Hololive so the hobby won't really decline or hit a stalemate anytime soon globally, just the En side will continue to pump out more indies like cockroaches.

People have been predicting the oversaturation and eventual death of the vtuber community for over 2 years now and it never fucking happens, the slowdown has been very gradual and not some kind of game crash style disruption of the status quo, i do agree with some of the points that as more and more vtubers debut it will likely kill a lot of indies and minor agencies when the dream fades, but this whole "oh it's gonna die" shit is like people predicting the fucking rapture at this point. What im trying to say is that i don't believe vtubing will really have a "bubble-burst" moment where everyone realizes the ugly truth at once and it creates a massive cascade, imo it will be more like a slow dribble.

Did Connor become a mainstay popular in EN Vtuber scene now or something? When Kson about to end her Elden Ring stream after 9+ hours yesterday, the chat start to spam her to raid Connor. She almost did it too, if it isn't for the fact that she doesn't know how and mess up the raid command so it doesn't do anything. I don't hate-hate Connor, but I prefer not having to see him so much. Like seeing tomato in my burger. It's fine, I will still eat it, but I prefer it isn't in my food in the first place.

Mikeneko must really get off to feeling down and hurt. It would be so easy to be happy with a basic amount of effort. She looks decent, has good acting skills, can act affable and loving in-character. All she has to do is stream as Mikeneko, on twitter announce a stream, maybe do GFE if it's needed, the end. Yet she chooses to go down the harder and more painful route which only makes her more miserable and hated.

It feels like she's legitimately self destructive. It's sad. People clearly tried to help her, but she just...wouldn't wait, she even got more chances than you would think would be the norm, but yet things still happened the way they did. It's like how every person has fucked up stream of consciousness thoughts, like randomly thinking "wow I could ruin my ENTIRE LIFE right now for NO reason" and that just passes through your brain, except she acted and listened to those thoughts.

You gotta realize, besides Connor's shitpost here about riding vtuber wave, going around with Irounmouse and VShojo. He was already acknowledged by Ludwig on twitch during Chess meta around 7 months ago. it's only about time when big streamers collab with the small streamers, it gonna boost their viewer or subs. having a circle around vtuber is what makes it worst, like what you said.

And hopefully the Kson raiding Connor is just the starter plan since she doesn't know the platform yet. Just like her willing to help notrushia by collabing in order to boost notrushia as a newcomer and gain viewers, but you don't want to see notrushia always collabing with Kson no?

I don't think it noticed, flamenco is just a dude that started talking about Vtuber drama when the nux/vshojo stuff blew up if I remember right because he noticed it brings him views from largely untapped drama market but was never too deep into it himself. To be honest nothing I've seen of his... hobbies is too shocking even by corpo Vtuber standards, personally I find his obsession with that breadtube faggot Xanderhal more creepy.
Anyway I seem to recall he promised to stream in a maid outfit as part of milestone celebration or something like that but pussied out when chat called it "gay" what a pity, it would be wonderful to have recording like that now.

Didn't he start as Pikamee's mod? I remember he was like THE Vtwitter, someone that managed to built significant hype for his debut through networking on that platform inspiring countless other talentless faggots to follow in his footsteps even if said debut was largely seen as disappointment. Anyway the only thing Artemis actually had going for him was better model than pretty much any other indie at that time but it doesn't stand out nearly as much this days.
