…Okay, Robyn, and? I don’t think Starbucks was trying to hide that or claim it was healthy. The other comments are right about the graph making it look like each gram of sugar was supposed to be a huge amount.
eta my comment got cut off: if we wanna talk about “what’s REALLY going on behind the scenes oooh sure pulled the curtains down on that one!” then we in fact have a better case of misrepresentation here. The serving size for these nutrition facts is two tablespoons. If you’ve ever watched your barista make your caramel macchiato, they drizzle about enough for one tablespoon max.
If you’re wondering why I’m sperging about nutrition facts it’s not the facts themselves, it’s about Robyn craving to be the smartest person in the room when she’s too dumb to read the entire nutrition label—or fact-check whose posts she’s sharing. All she knows is “big company bad” so anything bad that anyone says about them has to be true.
