Between this and the doctor that intentionally injured a patient over pronoun use, if someone working on my body medically or otherwise is trans or has a pronoun patch, hell even getting to the point I'm looking for dyed hair, I'll find someone else. I don't want permanent scars/intentionally bad work done cause I used the word 'dude' once

In their defense, I do understand women who feel that way. It's not necessarily that an individual's measure of strength means anything, and most tasks don't require brute strength to carry out. We use tools, machines and brainpower for a reason. But I think most women are actually very aware that men can pose a physical threat, and are aware of the innate difference. Some people said recently in this thread that many women don't realise the full extent and hence defend troons in sport more, but that seems absurd to me - growing up around mostly women, it seems that this knowledge is common sense, and advice about "don't walk there alone at night" or "carry pepper spray" or "walk in a big group" is dished out casually. Many women I think do focus on the strength imbalance, not because it should matter, but many men have wielded their strength as an intimidation or control tactic. Psychologically, I think the physical strength difference becomes a blanket representation for them for any unfairness they experience. Of course, the solution isn't denial, but actively finding solutions to or avoiding situations where you will be at a disadvantage against a man. It's really not necessary to focus on otherwise, but I get why they do.

Is this going to become a trend now? Medical malpractice for trans rights? I guess they're not going to mind then if their surgeons "accidentally" botch their neovaginas and neopeens. Those trans surgeons are already doing a horrible job and treating their patients like shit. Be careful about who you piss off, because it could get MUCH worse. (Can't remember which surgeon it is - maybe Kathy Rumer? - but some speculated she was literally performing MTF surgeries as a form of man-hate, because the results are that bad, lol.) They wouldn't even face consequences as long as there's plausible deniability. Even now, lawsuits go nowhere.

I probably wouldn’t have given a moment’s thought about JK Rowling post 2007 or so without the trans bullshit so I’m very pleasantly surprised to check out her twitter and discover she’s actually pretty chill and very funny. There is a term for what you’re describing: luxury beliefs. It’s not just ignorance, it’s an implicit status symbol. People used to show off how Not Poor they were by having pale skin and soft hands with carefully manicured nails; now they do it by asserting certain beliefs that let everyone know that they are definitely part of the professional managerial class, and not a filthy prole who might have had to do a job involving physical strength once in their lives.

Thing is, these luxury beliefs only stick around until they start hurting the believers personally, which is why Lia Thomas was such a huge deal. Troon swimmers at Ivy schools have the potential to personally harm the PM class; troon MMA fighters do not.

Puzzle pieces incoming. The Greek prefix eu- ("good") is usually used to indicate the opposite of a dys- ("bad, difficult") idea or condition. Dysgenic/eugenic, dysphoria/euphoria, etc.

So the opposite of dysmorphia (which is what I think you meant, usually used as a shorthand to refer to Body Dysmorphic Disorder, or thinking there's something wrong with your body when there isn't) should be eumorphia (thinking that your body looks better than it actually does).

Many AGPs are suffering from Body Eumorphic Disorder.

I mean, this is what makes me lean more heavily in the direction of a fear-based delusion on the part of women like this, although I don't think it's really so much a desire to be as feared as violent men per se - I think it's more to do with what you said about wanting to be strong enough to just not be a victim. I think much of the same mentality goes into the creation of "transmen": you see all of the time that a substantial proportion of them have been victimized as women in some way, so they seek protection in "becoming men". That topic has been done to death on this thread though, so I won't bang on forever about it except to say that as a small woman myself, I can actually sympathize with it a lot. The perpetual awareness of your own physical vulnerability gets wearing at times, all the more so if you have direct experience of it actually being used against you. It would definitely be nice, if not to be feared, to at least not be seen as an immediate, obvious easy target.

And I don't think women's self-defense classes are useless, but you have to be realistic about them. Certain forms of martial arts are more conducive to being used by women than others, though - judo and Brazilian jiu jitsu spring to mind as forms that are not focused so much on pain compliance and brute strength, so much as using balance and leverage to defend yourself, extricate yourself from grips, make yourself harder to move/carry/hit etc. So you cannot completely override the massive, yawning gulf of disparity in terms of brute strength, but you can certainly give yourself an edge. Most opportunistic predators, especially, are looking for an easy target - so even if all you can do is make it a lot harder for him to move you to a second location, you're doing yourself a big favor. I always recommend such courses to women - it won't turn you into a superhero that can dropkick Vin Diesel, but it could well make the difference between you being bundled into a van or not.

Oh, I completely get you, and the majority of women will certainly acknowledge that men are a far greater threat to them than, say, other women - although whether they understand the degree to which they are outmatched by the average man, I do question sometimes. Like someone else mentioned upthread, due to a lot of social progress I'm personally pretty thankful for, this threat is largely abstract for women who have no direct personal experience of being physically attacked by a man. There's a lot of cognitive dissonance about it, though, especially with regard to troons. I saw some stupid meme doing the rounds on instagram the other day that had previously been posted in this thread - some (female) gender studies PhD dipshit who'd made an infographic about how there was totally no real difference in the physiology of men and women, hence trannies participating in women's sports was absolutely justified, etc. It's obviously bullshit, but I'm just saying - there unquestionably are a sizeable number of liberal feminists out there who have actually convinced themselves of this, at least enough to parrot this kind of egregious bullshit and pass it around on social media.

So, about that, i think that it would be better if men and women lived separated, only that way women would be safe and be able to walk at any time and anywhere, like men would be isolated in a part of the city and they wouldn't be able to leave without special permission, it would be better for men too, since they would be able to do wathever they want like drink all day and piss in lamps or something like that in that part of the city, they would have acess to work,food and etc....
