probably because before joining Hololive, she used to play the mobile version she getting used to the mobile one + the mobile game market in ID is so big so it's no surprise. ID3 really tries to secure the Indonesian market more than the other two previous gen.

Does NijiEn and vshojo have a sort of deal to freely collab between their members? or nijiEn its forcing their members to collab with the other agency as part of the deal?. I ask that because i doubt every single member of nijiEn its interested in vshojo, like in holoEN you can tell only kiara, calli, ollie (and maybe bae?) are interested on a collab either with nijiEn or vshojo, while the rest dont even interact with them on twitter nor give them a mention.

I guess managers might encourage them to do it, niji EN is more starved for numbers so networking with established streamers/Vtubers is a one way to get some exposure. I bet Holo EN would also collab more outside of the group if their numbers weren't so strong from the start, actually I'm pretty sure Calli alluded to that in her last TT episode and she might be the only one actually frustrated with this situation.
Anyway afaik niji strategy is working to some extent as there are vshojo fans who turned to them mostly due to better work ethic, seems like most of vshojo got kinda lazy or burned out at this point.

About the tweet itself: i hope that means either nijiEn or holoEN mid management rotated so now the new ones in charge sees a collab between them possible. That hopefully can calm the masses specially on Kiara & Pomu side.

There's no reason to believe any of this, though. The collabs were blocked before Luxiem debuted, and if NijiJP and HoloJP can interact just fine then NijiEN being barred from HoloEN in case it upsets antis of a Japanese V-Tuber (Coco) is just implausible.

It's not like they didn't know it's coming though. Anyway collabs between niji & holo JP were something long established while EN branch is new and probably seen as more vulnerable. It wasn't just about Coco mind you, zhangs decided to concentrate on American dragon in particular for whatever reason but they were attacking hololive as a whole and sperged out every time holomem played a chinese game, that's why to this day nobody in holo EN (or any other branch for the matter, well Rushia just did after getting fired) played Genshin Impact while numerous niji EN members do. More than that I'm pretty sure some Western companies actually refused to give permissions or ghosted Cover on purpose due to this NGA faggotry, it's certainly suspicious how no one in hololive played Cyberpunk 2077 back when it came out while Nui got a special preview so it's not like they weren't aware of chuubas, CDPR have official representative in Japan. There was also that time when they managed to cancel ASUS sponsorship that Coco wasn't even part of through their chinese branch.
It's curious btw how (at least to my knowledge) kson doesn't interact with anyone in niji EN despite being followed by certain ID and KR members, you might think it would be easier for her to work with niji than vshojo. I actually have to look into this some more because it feels like half of Vtuber industry follows souchou and you have to go out of your way to omit her like that.

Nijisanji and Hololive are both huge in Taiwan/HK and less so mainland China. It just doesn't hold up.

Subaru said EN branch is about "passion" but they are not marketed as idols so it seems like omega (?) tried to push a different identity to some extent but it didn't really stick, in fact you can see EN members calling themselves idols or introducing as gen 1 or 2 even if management didn't want it to be a thing just like they didn't suppose to have senpai/kouhai relationship but they kinda do even if it's not 100% serious.
StarsEN (probably under different branding similar to Uproar) sound like a dumb idea and I'm glad that niji probably made it way harder for them to find proper candidates, perhaps whole project will end like auditions for those two models back in 2020. If it ever becomes a thing though they better act like JP senpai if they don't want to get swatted in their first month. Well I guess they might collab with Mori, BAE and certain ID members from time to time but not on a daily basis, this shit wouldn't fly in hololive.

I admittedly tend to overlook generations 1-2 aside for Haachama. Gen 3 and up are more flashy and interesting to me and have favorites like Watame, so I slept on a lot of the older generations. Was shocked at how good Mio was too.
