Maybe if the LGTB+ Community would condemn grooming publicly (as they have no issue doing with religion and/or a parental rights bill) without having to say that anything targeting groomers affects them more than the children, people wouldn't associate the two so often. Saying "Gay or not, child grooming is not okay" really shouldn't be a hard stance to take unless you approve of grooming or are outright doing so yourself. Just a thought.

He’s conflating issues, the groomer thing from what I understand is in relation to a Florida bill banning schools teaching 4-8 year olds about sexuality and gender identity and not that all trans people are groomers.

Of course, not every trans person is a groomer, but it's a fact that they are very protective of each other in that group to the point of defending shitbags like Yaniv and literal rapists because some people called them the wrong pronoums. I'm actually in favor of them having rights, but I must admit that I'm slowly getting more jaded with how these people act like a bunch of tribalist manbabies. Apparently, it comes from the fact that teenagers somehow can't simply wait until they are adults to make major, sometimes irreversible decisions about their own bodies. Or even children. I'm in for trans rights, but when it comes to minors these people cross a line in my view, and somehow I'm the intolerant one despite having this very reasonable standard as a metric!

Paid her bills with the "allowance" she got from her wealhy father, literally had more than six fucking figures on her account at any time and still needed to be a victim at every chance, that bitch could stay some weeks at the Ritz at a minute's notice and she still felt that us guys had it better for being guys. People like that aren't worth the headaches they are!

I'm pretty sure The Other Jim sketched out the 5 Year Internet Content Creator Cycle, possibly talking about Wings: three years building up, two years peak, and then people lose interest and there's a sudden yet persistent bleed out in which some people start to panic. Null filled in the details ("Don't fuck you fans...") and by their power combined you have a viable business plan with an exit strategy, and a strong incentive to invest your peak earnings.
Thing is, pioneers of YouTube etc didn't have anything to go by. They were making it up as they went along. People like Big Jimbo had nothing to compare themselves with. The alsorans on TGWTG were too overly in love with BlipTV's generous ad revenue to notice it was corporate suicide, and many didn't make the move to other platforms until it was way too late. There are exceptions but they tend to be people who would be successful in conventional media too ie very good looking people. Or people who reroll a different career for another five years, who you could probably list on the fingers of one hand.
I think we appreciate Jim Sterling hasn't just lost his passion for making YT videos about gaming, he's taken to actively loathing games and gamers. That's what makes him so funny in many ways, ridiculous tranny antics aside, even. He's reacted to the bleed out as if it were somehow the fault of a specific group of imaginary people, and then attempted to appeal to another group of non-existent people to patch it all up. When, really, it's just the way things are for talking heads on the internet.
Basically, Jim should sidestep into Breadtube now. Start a new channel, go full trans rant, all day every day. He might roll another five years that way.
