Multiple people shot, unexploded devices found at NYC train station

NEW YORK (AP) — Multiple people were shot Tuesday morning at a subway station in Brooklyn, New York, the city fire department said.

Fire personnel responding to reports of smoke at the 36th Street station in the Sunset Park neighborhood found multiple people shot and undetonated devices, a New York City Fire Department spokesperson said.

According to a law enforcement source briefed on the investigation, preliminary information indicated a suspect was dressed in construction attire.

A photo from the scene showed people tending to bloodied passengers lying on the floor of the station.

Further details were not immediately available. New York City police said they were responding to reports of people wounded either by gunfire or an explosion.

Trains servicing that station were delayed during the morning rush hour.

Schizophrenia seriously reduces your ability to think and thereforeplan. The more complex the plot, the more likely the person is acting criminally sane and responsible. A schizo chops their moms head off? Alright, I can understand that… but plots involving devices, get away plans, various arms…? It’s a bit different than just walking into a school/theater and spraying bullets like other well known schizos. Idk

Would this be more akin to Schizoid personality? What are the odds someone afflicted with full on schizophrenia would be able to plan and execute a relatively complex plot like this by themselves?

Schizos can come up with complex plans, but acting on them is harder. Schizophrenic serial killers for example often do have rather intricate plans, and even can carry them out sometimes.

That's literally where the glowbois come in. They are notorious for finding schizos online and sweet talking them into doing a terrorism, while helpfully providing ammo, bombs, and other planning details.
