Meme Gif Doing My Part.gif

People on /vt/ are interpreting the PC tweet as basically an actual division to poach indies and small corpos, aka declaration of war in the small corpo sphere and a signal for aggressive expansion.
Recently Tsunderia talent and talent manager Umiushi Urara resigned without any word why, there is speculation now that she may have joined PC as an actual talent manager and possibly in this new division.

It's weird because I took all the collabs with other small corpos PC has been doing recently as maybe a sign of a desire for greater unity between them, or maybe even feeling out future merger opportunities. But this is like… maybe "hostile" isn't the right word, but… inconsiderate?

Assuming, of course, these two left Cyberlive with the intention of joining PC all along rather than sincerely intending to be indie before Fish made them an offer they couldn't refuse or something. Maybe we'll never know but it seems more likely than not at this point, no?

It'll be interesting to see if PC continues to do collabs with Cyberlive or the other small corpos. If these stop happening we can definitely take it as a sign that PC's poaching was hostile and the other corpos are pulling back lest it happen to their talents too (or again, in Cyberlive's case).

Anyway, excited for Lumi being apart of Phase Connect... hopefully it will last. She's a gem.
Apart of Phase Connect? Is she leaving even before debuting for them?

("a part of X" = a component/member of X; "apart of X" = separated from X. I try not to grammarfag too much on KF but this one gets me.)

This stuff is really crazy because it presents two major potential explanations for this, both of which are interesting for separate reasons. Either the deal from Fishman was that good, or there's stuff below the surface of the other small corporations that hasn't been leaked yet. The next few weeks/months in the small corpo sphere is going to be interesting.

God I love this meme.

I personally don't think what happened with Lumi and Yuri shows so much about Phase Connect, but rather CyberLive. As for Urara resigning, on the surface level at least, it looks like the talents at Tsunderia are doing alright. If she did end up working for the fishman company, maybe it just was a better deal and a familiar face leading the business. It is a job after all.

In other words, no, I don't think there will be a rush for small corpos trading around vtubers. I think most of them give adequate support to their talents that an upset like switching companies isn't worth it for the most part. I don't think Fishman is running around burning bridges.

I enjoy sticking my head into this thread occasionally because it's whip lash every time. First time everyone was in love with Calli, now every post about her is negative.

Mainly came in to say Korone's "Doggy God's Street" is amazing, great beat and loved the video. Her whole anniversary stream was pretty good.
It's just the same handful of people mad about Karen no matter what she does. Can't sway them.

Buddy, Cyberlive and the girls were already done splitting, and if anyone was being hostile, it certainly wasn't Sakana, given the twitter receipts of Yumi's coworkers dragging her through glass shards and pig crap while going "WE'RE NOT BITCHES SHE IS REEEEEEEEE". And even if it was, then whatever, fuck Cyberlive. :smug:

When you're Phase Connect, you're PC 4 Life!

Point and laugh now counts as being negative or being mad? Because i swear that was the behaviour of this thread lately. Put me clocks if you want, but i dont remember seeing someone actually sperging like /vt/ does in the past months.
