Me thinks they were expecting sanctions to have much quicker and more damaging effect in ruining our economy. Just like Putin supposedly expected much less straining special operation on all fronts.
They absolutely knew this was coming and planned for it. It all flows perfectly with the push to electric vehicles. The environment as an issue failed so now they're going to paint Russia and the middle east as axis powers 2.0 and paint buying oil/gasoline as literally powering concentration camps.

The "how could ebil russia do this!?!?!" song and dance is for the US/Euro public.

Nah this conflict is more “two monkeys knife fighting while hundreds of retards scream at each other over whose monkey is better”

A lot of people are really down on the french, but I adore them, mostly. Good lord some of them are just awe inspiring. Old Macron is gonna need at least 4 foot of black cock to recover from that.

So apparently some Russian soldier has personified his war machine.

Russian soldier says every machine has a soul, calls her Baby Swallow, she destroyed 2 Bayraktars and she's only warming up. Then he calls her a beautiful woman and (00:22) reads her a poem.

And I guess someone had to turn into one of their Japanese animes.

And some folks in War Thunder finding workarounds to putting in the Z.

And the Hohols attempt to make an Azov emblem.

And some random T-72 videos.

And this is just a localized war in Eastern Europe, could you imagine the modern internet being around during WW2?

“Holy fuck Hitler just invaded Poland :stress:

“Well, looks like the Japs got nuked, and nothing of value was lost :story:

Antifaoperative is acting like a cunt again over Ukraine using that cryin baby gif. She is acting like the biggest pro war bitch on this side of the Mississippi.
The "plug ears and yell over you" strategy, as old as internet forums, there's a reason why the baby picture is huge.

IMO the correct move here, would have been to post things that the antifa would be afraid of laughing off, at risk of getting cancelled by her followers, to break her out of the spam cycle, or she walks into it and has to grovel later.

Examples being photos of Ukrainians gathering around Nazi flags, harming any sacred cows, etc, the more visually obvious from the photo, the better. She's not going to be convinced of anything, but her followers can be convinced she's problematic if it can be spoon-fed to them.

Of all the things that could bring Macron down, I never imagined it would involve skepticism of the Holocaust on Wheels, which mysteriously can't be photographed or filmed, even by satellite, done using incinerator trucks that even Snopes is skeptical about.

Good news, everyone! The Russkis has lost over 500 tanks now. Great job Putin!

Stalin would have had that manlet faggot Putin raked over the coals in Lubyanka's deepest hole for this fuckup.

I wouldn't trust Oryx, he is clearly biased because he considers every unrecognizable piece of destroyed equipment as Russian.

He even regards many destroyed vehicules without the Z or V markings as Russian without any evidence for crying out loud.

I didn't think the $199,999 Chryslus Corvega with fission battery was ever going to be real.

Why then is a US military officer saying all that at West Point lecturing a class? Plus Russia kicked out the US airforce on Syria once they decided to get involved. Russia ended that situation, not the USA.

You didn't actually read the site. I ask people actually go through his article. It's well sourced and if there's a problem with the sourcing deal with that instead of hand waving it away. Please. Thanks.

Because the US Military wargames out the worst possible situation that they can. You're not going to get better if you go in to an exercise with an air of superiority about you. This is literally no different than basic county-level Emergency Management roleplaying. You game out for emergencies that you are not equipped for: this helps determine what solutions might be available or what you can try to do to prepare for that storm or mass-cas event.

Also it looks good when you apply for FEMA grants. (Or submit funding requests to Congress.) If the Air Force wants a new anti-radiation missile for the F35 to use on SEAD missions, it has to justify it. Your local Fire Department does the exact same thing when it talks up about how much it needs a thermal imager it will probably only use twice in three years.

Tankies use your exact arguments as to why the inexperienced and uncoordinated PLA would walk right over the US Navy because of war games.

The US Military was shitting itself on the onset of Desert Storm. There were serious doubts that it would be an easy victory and we gathered the largest coalition since WWII to ensure victory. Doomsday didn't happen. Instead we walked all over the Iraqi Army, to include their supposedly elite Republican Guard.

Look, I'm not saying that NATO would lay the Russians over the proverbial couch and raw dog them into the ground, but Russian performance in Ukraine isn't what we expected, Ukrainian propaganda or not. They're obviously relying on 'kinda trained' recruits and equipment that doesn't appear to be as maintained as it should. Conscripts can make decent riflemen or truck drivers or hole diggers, but they're never going to be effective NCOs or have the experience necessary to operate and maintain air defenses or electronic warfare suites. The US Armed Forces, tranny advertisements aside, has this.

A lot of these wargames and theories explicitly rule out the United States' singular trump card: the DOD has 'fuck you' money. There is no other country on this planet that has the fiscal capacity to launch multi-million dollar stand-off weapons at an air defense system just to make sure a Dutchman in an outdated F16 can have a safe corridor to drop some Rockeyes on a column of T72s. The DOD has more smart weapons in storage than the Russians probably have T55 and T62s rusting away in storage.

not fast enough for me.
i want china to stop all exports to usa
Their economy wouldn't survive. They would for sure lose the mandate of heaven.
I don't anyone is saying the petrodollar is going to collapse overnight but it's the start of a trend, one that will completely fuck the US economy if it keeps going.
I doubt it collapses at all. There is not enough lithium and cobalt in the world to get every ICE vehicle off the road. This will create a world of haves and have nots and will allow for the haves to manipulate oil prices without harming themselves. China and the US are in good positions for the time being, i think it becomes a global duopoly.
I think America's biggest problem is it has no social capital left, the majority of people are completely self-interested and don't care about each other, there's no community in most of the country and outside of upscale wealthy neighborhoods, there's a lot of visible decay, things just aren't taken care of here. It doesn't seem like a huge deal now but in the future when real crises happen, ones which require a country to come and work together to survive, it's really hard to see America uniting and overcoming something like it did in the Great Depression.
I don't see what you see. I think the Northeastern US is, it's aging badly and has been infiltrated by corruption and organized crime for over a century. Everyone but the ultra rich have been bled dry and now the vampires are fleeing.

In the South it's a different story. There isn't even a lot of racial tension here, it's kinda strange. It's obviously not perfect but most of the perception of the South comes from voices that have never been here or seen it. It is very different in reality from what you expect.

Le Pen said that if she is elected president, France will withdraw from NATO At the same time, she does not intend to withdraw the country from the EU: "This is not my goal... But at the same time, I want this European structure to evolve."

I don't like people who post gore just for fun, especially those who mock the dead, but I think seeing the face of death is a good reminder of why wars should be avoided at all costs.

Everyday life during the war. The fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are destroyed, south of Raisin.

Kinda surprised people are seeing this as Ukraine vs Russia and not Nato vs Russia with all the equipment and intelligence given to Ukraine and not to mention all the men on the ground from the US/UK/France. There is a French journo who reported its American generals running things on the ground there right now.

Not sure we have to wonder what NATO vs Russia looks like, we are seeing it. If the Russians backing off of Kiev and focusing on Eastern Ukraine and finishing of Maripol is Russia losing and Nato winning, fair enough, but that's what's happening by almost every report coming out of both sides.

After reading this, a bald eagle flew through my window and cried a single tear of joy into my keyboard.
