He even kind of shoots himself in the foot with these pity threads. He makes it sound like a fascinating story, and then a motivated and sympathetic person like Meme Mike will start looking into it and find that Patrick is withholding huge chunks of the story that make him look like an easily baited and easily fooled moron who spends most of his day answering prank texts and mean tweets. And then he loses his sympathy for being a liar by omission, the type of liar closest to the common weasel

It's so much like another of my favorite cows, people tell both of them how to solve all of their online problems over and over, and they both take every course of action except the right one because the people laughing at dumb online behavior can't possibly be right about anything

  • Disowned by our families
  • Beaten
  • Arrested and thrown in prison
