So after all of the Ukrainian lies and propaganda the first week of the war I decided to completely tune out for the most part.

My assessment as of now is that basically

* Ukraine is doing far better than anticipated
* Russia is doing far worse than anticipated
* Doesn't mean Ukraine is "winning" or Russia is "losing", it's more that neither are getting what they want for the most part (Russia: full control over Ukraine, Ukraine: Russia out completely, return to pre-Invasion)
* Russia could still win this by steamrolling over everything but they are not willing to kill the number of civilians that would require

Is that accurate?
Russia will lose, because their economy is shit, they can't mass produce any modern stuff anymore (if they were ever able, see T-14), their moral is shit, russian military tech is shit, corruption is high and they fight alone an offensive war against a country which gets supported by all western powers. Russia has lost, it will only take some time and a generation of non-ethnic-russian young men for them and the Putin simps in the west to understand it. But maybe Kadyrov can do some more TikTok videos in the meantime and prepare to become fully independant post Putin.

It's not that they have no desire to do so, it's that they lack the munitions at this point. They're struggling.

Are you genuinely trying to argue that the only reason that the Russians arent murdering every single civilian they come across is that they don't have enough bullets? You've made some pretty retarded posts, but this is definitely one of the top ones.

How does killing people for no reason benefit the Russians?

So, I guess they are not running out of ammo then?
lol no. Every week or so they start with a new Russia "only has supplies for X number of days", and it always turns out to be bullshit. The Chechens who Russia has been kind of using like auxiliary forces have more ammunition than they know what to do with, so it's fairly safe to say Russia's direct forces are not short on ammo.

Gotta keep some alive to rape too. Don’t forget that.

Even if someone wanted to insist that the Vodka Niggers were running low on smart munitions (Possible?), they're not running out of regular artillery shells, and you would have to be some sort of retarded gorilla nigger to think there's any chance that they've any sort of shortage of infantry munitions.

Not that I've seen. Modern aircraft carriers are a lot tougher than you guys think. There's also a lot of time and effort put into designing munition handling and storage procedures that take into account being attacked. If that picture someone posted earlier is accurate, it's only a bridge fire.

95% sure it's afloat, US defence secretary Kirby said they themselves have no idea what exactly happened, just there was a bang and damage... he also says it's afloat puttering back to Sevastopol under its own power for repairs.

They are still not at "full war" level. They could easily just go full on Dresden on many cities but they have no desire to do that as far as I can tell.

I don't see this as the Russians fighting without restrictions (even if you take off biological/chemical/nuclear off of the table).
The issue is that there are real world limits on how warfare is conducted.
Even if Russia decided to whatever reason to do a genocide run on this bitch, going full on Dresden requires a large expenditure of munitions. Why expend those on turning cities into rubble, which makes them harder to capture, when they're better used on combat troops actually defending the cities? Fighting without restrictions is never possible because the real world imposes restrictions. The poor Ivan trying to deliver tank rounds and artillery shells to the front is probably driving a Z-marked civilian van that's going to have to be ditched and replaced by another civilian van in a week due to the stress of having to carry munitions in roads full of mortar holes. All because a truck got bogged down in the first week and a farmer took it home with his tractor.
What are "full war" levels? More people? That means more food that has to be trucked into Ukraine. More artillery? Someone has to haul the shells from the rail to the front. More helicopters flying close air support? They need jet fuel to run those turbines, and they can't fly comfortably into Ukrainian positions due to the proliferation of Stingers and now Starstreak missiles.
Right now Russia is playing their cards right by not overextending or blowing their load and depleting themselves of supplies.
So, I guess they are not running out of ammo then?
Let me put it this way. If you're shooting, you're always running out of ammo.
Let's say you can get 600 rounds of artillery delivered to you every week. If you fire 100 rounds every day, you're going to run out within the week.
No matter how much ammo is stockpiled in Siberia, you don't have access to it. So you limit your fire rate to make sure that by the time you're almost out, you're getting new shipments in.

Presently there's no real way to know exactly how much damage has been done to the thing. It could be anywhere from "Slightly singed" and being hauled away as a precaution, to "Unsalvageable". Depending on who you support it's fairly easy to believe either scenario, but I'm reserving judgement presently.
