It's usually because they live in privileged, isolated areas where they can't see the effects of increased illegal immigration, or stick their heads in the sand even when it's clear that said immigrants have brought an influx of crime. They cheer for no borders but live in expensive areas where illegals cannot hope to thrive in. They say America is stolen land, ignoring the fact that all land is stolen (Natives especially were guilty of slaughtering neighboring tribes for food or land).

They also tend to be more of a "bleeding-heart"-type of person, which may explain why they keep voting for bills for gibs, which eventually fucks the state over (leading to them moving to a more conservative area and voting for the same bills again). Alternatively, we can speculate that they're forcing said bills into law by voting to correct a perceived injustice.

Or in the rare instance in which the illegal crime does affect them, they blame the host country for not doing enough to help or give free resources. It's like there's a willful mental block preventing them from assigning responsibility to the illegal immigrants' actions.

As someone who supported/supports Trump, I honestly didn’t enjoy most of his tweeting. It didn’t endear him further to me as a supporter, and it often served to give his adversaries ammo that he really couldn’t afford to give. All the while, it alienated those who reluctantly pulled the lever for him in 2016, when he really needed those votes (and more), considering his 2016 margins. I continue to believe that Trump not opening his mouth every time he has a thought (this is in no way an endorsement of his being censored) like when he was on Twitter is actually a positive thing. Not only for his image, but it takes away that shiny object that the media would undoubtedly use to distract from Brandon’s failings. If Trump were still tweeting, the press would spend all their time going “OMGOMGOMGLOOKWHATBLUMPFTHTWEETEDTODAY,” instead of focusing on the current governmental trash fire. If rejoining Twitter is an option in the future, he should reject it- don’t give them the satisfaction.

Yeah, they really didn’t think the consequences of that through. Pretty sure the un-person’ing of a US president is a prime reason as to why Musk is making his moves. Speaking of which…

I don't think Trump could resist doing a victory lap, to be honest. You'd have to be exceptionally humble to not dance on that grave. Whether he continues to use it after harvesting the grand salt from his "I'm back, baby" post on twitter is a different story. He was good about weaponizing the news cycle in his favor, and a lot of the ammunition against him was media manipulation as much as anything else - something a twitter buyout seriously injures.

Another way to look at it is like this. In politics and bureaucracy the people with ambition will try to climb the ranks, and will back stab eachother to do it.

The people higher up the ladder know they ve back stabbed to get there so they put weak disposable people below them.

In this admins case they ve made a big deal about diversity or ideology so weak appointments power struggles, and sadly a series of crises both self afflicted and not.

Fuck look at putin and ukrain all his little yes men lied about the state of their army, lied about the on the ground situation.

The smartest thing putin could do is just end the special military operation. with draw his forces, and ideally do military reforms.

Oh wait the one military man who wanted to reforms the military got shit canned.

Oh wait if he showes weakness he ll be deposed.

The further they were from Europe, the more practical independence they had.
